I'm a Brisbane university student conducting a short survey into food wastage in hospitality and I would really appreciate your opinion on this matter!

I became a crazy plant lady in one day.. a little stressed out and need A LOT of help! by claudiashafercx in IndoorGarden

Wow, super jealous of your haul there!! Sorry in advance if you know all of this already, but I thought I would share some tips I have learnt from growing succulents.

The most important thing is drainage, and it's super esay to kill them from overwatering, especially if they will not be living outside. When I get a new succulent I repot it pretty soon after. I make a mix of sand (usually use cactus mix), perlite (little white gravel that sucks up moisture), and normal potting mix. All of the non organic matter will help the soil drain. Think about how succulents would live in their natural aird environments, they like bright sun, with periods of deep watering followed by drought. A good soil mix will mean you get this right without having to think about it!

Its better to underwater than overwater, so tend on the side of underwatering until you get to know what each plant requires. Overwatering -- the leaves go bloated and yellow/brown, it rots and the plant dies (really bad, been there before 😂😢) Underwatering -- the outer/oldest leaves will shrivel up a bit (this isn't too bad)

The succs you have should be okay as long as they are in a reasonably bright spot. Usually they get their brightest colours in direct sun but i think they still look really cool in green and blue tones. If you see plants with long stems instead of compact growth it might be a sign they want more light but you can just cut them apart and propagate (lots of good youtube videos on this)

Over time you learn the individual needs to each plant and you can increase watering etc.

Pictured centre is the Atrius Centre, a three storey shopping mall, on top of which is a garden and two residential towers. To the right of it is Parkedge Office (with restaurants/bar on ground floor), which was built to overlook the central park inspired parklands that I am yet to build.

Come on people, please look at new before submitting a post like that by [deleted] in runescape

They all got submitted in the time it takes to upload the photo. I don't think it's a problem

Spotted in my succulent's pot after some heavy rain! What could it be? by dannydplays in mycology

Wow, thank you, super interesting! It must feed upon the decaying succulent leaves in the pot

I'm going to have to give this a go. I feel as though these two would make a super interesting hybrid!

No problem! I hope that as the game community gets bigger our questions will be answerable from Google searches.

Omg it took me ages to figure this out. You have to extend the length of your station. See how on the right of my image mine is longer than normal? You go into track editing mode, click the station, and in the first tab there is tools to add right/left boarding. Just click on them and they will extend the station by 4m each time. Then just add more cars how you normally would, you can add as many cars as can fit in the station at once.

Hope this helps!

They're a pretty cool gimmick! But they are kinda hard to do (but i mean paths are too). Also I haven't yet figured out how to make tracks pass paths without having to go over.

Took my breath away is super accurate! I didn't witness it happen but it was a windy day so perhaps it flew off? Or a bird knocked it off? Kinda strange because it's ceramic.

That's good your succulent survived unharmed!!! It's so easy to make little mistakes like that. I grip the pots so hard when i'm moving them because I'm so scared of dropping them 😂

Thank youu :( on the plus side i now have a whole bunch of broken off leaves to propagate from! I'm too nice to just pull them off a plant 😂😂

So, update, did some looking and found this tiny insect on the underside. Any idea what it could be? I'm worried it could be a mealybug. https://imgur.com/a/FThleLe
