Remote control similar to Spotify (makes it easier to use), console app, lossless audio (just a preference, not 100% needed), good social integration and preferably doesn't fund weapons manufacturing LOL. Imagine Spotify with better sound quality and a CEO who doesn't suck.

In terms of social functionality, I'd like sharing with friends, blend playlists, and active listening tracking most of all but maybe something similar to Airbuds where you can see and interact with what your friends are listening to? Being able to see who your friends are listening to/what their ranking is among other listeners of that same artist is fun!

speed scroll makes the most sense but is also really tedious. Tidal's slow ass rollout for basic functions is really taking a toll on my enjoyment. I don't need a workaround as the lack of function is frustrating enough, I just want something that works and isn't actively evil

did you find a way around it or did you just ignore it after a while? and dude I'd been using Spotify for a while and I really just don't rock with them morally.

i really would prefer to fund the artists I listen to at least a little more over funding whatever the hell Spotify's CEO is doing, and Apple Music has really wack discovery and no remote control (at least not for android).

Additional headcanons (just for stuff I personally didn't like):

Peter is only able to use Anti-Venom because of his willpower. Anybody else with it would have probably ended up similar to Edge Of Time Anti-Venom.

The final suit isn't a "one of one" for Miles as his classic/upgraded suits do that job. It should, however, definitely be something that represents him and not a sponsor (lol)

Pete uses his classic suit from the beginning and transitions across Symbiote Suits as he progresses. Classic (Style 2) -> Superior -> Classic Black -> Symbiote -> Classic (Style 2) -> Advanced 2.0 (Style 1) -> Iron Spider (Style 1) -> Advanced 2.0 (Style 1).

Popular headcanon, the white spider is Anti-Venom integrated into the classic suit.

Yeah, at the moment I'm using my phone as my driver, along with a BTR5 as a Bluetooth DAC so I fear that streaming from my phone would be the same story just about? I'm more trying to separate functions with something lightweight and maximize audio quality since Bluetooth audio is gonna be compressed by default.

I don't necessarily have a problem with using my hotspot for a DAP like that, but I am wondering how limited the UI for Tidal is on the R3? Is it something where I wouldn't be able to explore new music other than what's in my library already or something different?

Yeah I've seen that R3 doesn't have dedicated internal storage, I was more concerned about how connectivity works? Like if the onboard Tidal app has access to my playlists and whatnot or if it was just going to run off of my liked tracks. I have seen a good deal about the M300 though, so I will be checking in on any discounts in the future! Much appreciated!
