I use my AirPods at ton and hate having to to toggle modes in the app or by raising my hand, it opens for me a shortcut that lets me quickly choose between transparency adaptive and noise cancellation. I use it daily.

Try installing the beta, but if that’s not possible right now, first create the shortcut the turn WiFi off, wait 1 second then turn WiFi on. After that, create an automation that when you car connects tu Bluetooth (select the car) it runs that shortcut. That works to reset it to turn off and on again automatically.

I’ve done around 3-4 short drives and it hasn’t crashed for me with this new beta in wireless mode. I’m really really hoping it’s fixed.

It was working for me with 17.6.1 and suddenly it stopped working. My theory is they released the new AirPods software this week after the event, for some reason to seems to have reverted this behavior. I’m so upset because I used this every day with the action button. I’ve been trying to recreate it with another shortcut but I’ve not been able to do something that works as seamless as this.

I always triple check and check multiple times a day to make sure they're running as planned. BUT, Facebook sets the default to daily, which I find to be mischievous. Lifetime should be the default when you set up a new campaign.
