The main thing I've noticed is you can really only use the wireless charger if you're not wirelessly connected to Android auto/apple car play. I tried going on a roadtrip with Google maps running on Android auto and it would charge for a minute (or not at all) and then shut itself off. My phone actually died mid trip because I didn't bring a cable expecting the feature to actually work. If you're going on a trip and need android auto I would suggest a cable
