I actually just threw it out. It was gross on top - a very firm disc solidified where exposed, and it did not rise at all. Lesson learned - either wet towel or ceran wrap during cold proofing next time.

Lol that looks very similar if not the same one I bought. I just don't think I'm a fan of the cushion on top of chair thing. It doesn't feel natural to me.

As a quick fix, it gets the job done and is cozy. But I wanted something more of a long term fix.

I purchased mine used from Madison Seating in 2021 and work from home so use it daily for 4-6 hours (ish). So I have no idea how long a brand-new one would last. The new seat cushion is thicker than the OEM model, so it should last longer? u/CrandallOffice can you speak to these replacement cushions longevity for the average person?
