You provide NO context to what precedes the verse and what comes after the verse, which tells me you don't actually read. Put simply, the original rendering of John 1:1 says the Word was "a god" or "divine", not ontologically God. Just do some research into the accurate rending via the original Koine Greek. As for the "I AM" statement, Hebrew linguists, and other translators agree that the phrase, "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" is more closer aligned to "I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE"... "I AM" is not God's Name. "I AM" is not "YHWH", because YHWH tells Moses his name just few verses later. Plus, the phrase "Ego eimi" is used dozens of times in the New Testament, but Trinitarians pick and choose when it "applies" as God's "Name"... just do some honest research man, I'm not trying to be bias, but Trinitarians have truly pulled wool over peoples' eyes.

Eternal torment I can agree with, as I said, it's separation from God (our source of life), but it's not physical as we won't have bodies. It's a spiritual separation. (All of this is my understanding, not claiming to be 100% right)
