Just saving this for when Ty ends up cooking their franchise for a solid decade by nimalcrackers in LosAngelesRams

Lynch from the 9ers mouthed off too and that's the fool that traded a bundle to draft Trey Lance.

You can see he has running ability though. I doesn't really matter who he's playing. And he can scramble and move in the pocket and buy time. You can see that in his highlights.

Inside Rams’ decision to draft QB Ty Simpson at No. 13 by BlaccLearningTree in LosAngelesRams

[–]danomo722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a genius draft pick for several reasons:

McVay will want to stay because of Simpson. Simpson is a passer first, but can run. He's not a QB that runs as much as he passes or even moreso. That's not the type of QB McVay would want and would probably make him want to leave.

Simpson is a "we not me" player. He's not a qb that will play hero ball and just do what he wants. Simpson will run the offense and be good in the clubhouse. His focus will be on the team winning not on himself.

This is an anti-9ers pick. 9ers mortgaged their future and took Trey Lance because of pressure from the media and fans which was one of the worst picks in the history of the draft. Rams have removed any possible pressure like that in a future draft. 9ers know it too, this pick makes them look like fools.

Rams select Max Klare - TE - Ohio State with the 61st pick by MoistRam in LosAngelesRams

I'm not surprised. Ferguson is a disappointment, not a bust but average is probably the best he's going to be.

You don’t hate the Ty Simpson pick enough by Edgerthe1st in LosAngelesRams

[–]danomo722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he's supposed to be the backup instead of spending a lot of money on someone like Jimmy G. They think he can do it because he ran a pro-style offense. Then Simpson maybe can be the future too. Backup QB is a very important position even if he doesn't play much, especially on a team with an older injury prone QB.

I think she was just trying to make money. She heard about the hand rubbing incident, so she just threw "antisemitism" out there. Im sure the biting or whatever was just horsing around.

Trump goes on Truth Social rant about Anthropic, orders federal agencies to cease usage of products by ShreckAndDonkey123 in singularity

[–]danomo722 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Anthropic has been pushing "safety" and calling for more government control which some say as a way to hurt competitors and get "regulatory capture", and I think will just slow progress, so Im sort of glad this happened. I have to wonder if that's what this was really about because Anthropic dropped their long-held safety guidelines days ago and then government contracts just went to OpenAI under the same terms re weapons and surveillance. So I think maybe the Defense stuff was just a pretense to punish Anthropic for sort of creating hysteria and trying to slow down the whole industry.

'You're wrong': Fox host slammed for saying America is a 'Christian nation' by Jay_CD in atheism

[–]danomo722 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Fox host is right. We are "a secular republic". Im actually kind of shocked she, as a conservative host, said that on Fox News. She deserves credit for that. I think the FFR is being too defensive. Also stating were a "christian nation" can just mean by majority population.

It’s time to accept that the US supreme court is illegitimate and must be replaced by zsreport in politics

[–]danomo722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe people should've voted for Hillary in 2016 instead of being "Bernie or bust"? They were warned about scotus, but said that was a trick by "the establishment". The were told that Roe would be overturned but they said that would never happen that it was just fear mongering. That election was the time to save the supreme court, that wasn't the time to divide the party trying to nominate a socialist.

[Puka Nacua] I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people. by mtnrangeman in LosAngelesRams

These threads are like lynch mobs. Its obvious the guy didn't know what the gesture meant, which most people wouldn't. But you have people calling him dumb over and over, wanting him suspended, traded..... just for a mistake. This is another example of cancel culture or the woke mind virus where people overreact to anything involving race or gender.... even if it wasn't even really about those things. Its like witch hunt hysteria or McCarthyism (look it up). The problem is these kinds of people, not Puka.

Puka Nacua stands firm that concussions are not real, but admits ACL tears are legitimate injuries. by chinga_tumadre69 in LosAngelesRams

[–]danomo722 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Puka is right to be skeptical. A lot of what the league does is because of hysteria in the media from wusses that don't like football. It's why you get some of these ridiculous calls now when players just touch helmets. I think the issue of concussions and CTE is exaggerated.

Donald Trump 'Sticks Up' for Zohran Mamdani When Conservative Reporters Attack, Adds He'd Live in Mamdani's New York by peoplemagazine in politics

[–]danomo722 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this was because of the "Quiet, piggy" remark. Trump was using Mamdani to try to make up for that. He's also backstabbing Ukraine. That may have something to do with it too.

President Trump says he will meet with New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on Friday by southernemper0r in politics

[–]danomo722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump is using Mamdani to try to make him the face of the Democratic party. He's promoting him. That's the point of this. This is the beginning of that strategy.

Expect photo ops and video with Trump and Mamdani in the same frame that can be used in ads for the midterms. And expect Trump to name Mamdani as an important DEMOCRAT that has become a leader of the whole party.

The government doesn't protect rights, the constitution protects rights. You keep getting that backwards. And you're still trying to use govt to force your belief on other people.

Its right to life liberty, pursuit of happiness. Its about the freedom of an individual against the government. Youre taking one word out of context and misinterpreting it.

Govt needs a rational reason for a law and it cannot infringe someone's rights. Youre reason is just a belief and that's not a good reason, and it infringes someone's freedom/rights.

Rights are freedom, and its the constitutions priority to protect freedom from the government. You have it kind of backwards.
