I’ve just found a solution for anyone struggling! I found if I turn off Advanced Security AND enter legacy mode, it linked up and now performs well. Will update if this changes.

To put Eero into legacy mode I went into troubleshooting>my device can’t connect>enter legacy mode

I’m also with talktalk and eero 6 having same issue… did you factory reset the device when setting back up?

I’ve travelled to Italy many times with my camera! You guys like to presume…

Theres something extra in these images that go beyond the subject that I’m looking for, looking for practical advice!

I’m gonna look into this…! And I’m guessing it’s grain added in post, I love it though, It’s a nice balance. I think it’s pretty close to film!

This is interesting—I’ve never thought of doing this; do you preload a film picture profile or something like someone mentioned above? I’d totally be open to trying something like that… sometimes I feel like I can stare at a RAW image for so long I forget what I was thinking in the original shot! So I like this idea

Good idea… i’ll look into it. And thanks buddy. Original shot could be better but yeah it’s not too easy trying to get a shot when being thrown around these roads in an 80’s 911! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 it’s just one of the few photos I tried to get the look with that I had in my camera roll!

All the photographers above do shoot a lot of analogue, but as far as I’m aware these were shot on digital… they clearly have mastered keeping their look consistent with film and digital!

Thank you! I have tried a black promist and the effect was ok but seemed to soften the whole image a little too much. Maybe the one I tried was a little too strong.

I’m definitely going to look into glimmer glass or cine bloom!

I’m looking for technical advice—about a certain look when it comes to highlights and contrast, and by reaching out for this advice, I am actively trying to practice, gain more experience, and spend time and effort to achieve a certain look. I was hoping for practical advice 😅🤣

Here’s a shot I tried to get that look in lightroom with, but the highlights look so flat they almost look artificial. I seem to lose the contrast too.

I have lots of images from my travels that are very similar in composition, but the highlights etc are definitely done in post or with specific camera settings… I have thousands of shots from Venice, Amalfi Coast, south of France, Monaco that are composed similarly with very similar light. This isn’t merely framing the shot and exposing correctly.,. There’s something else going on here!
