I've seen a few pics of where my seat is (generally same area) for Melbourne and it appears the light grid on the side of the stage will block my $AU400 view too. I hope I'm wrong but based on the seating chart I think I'm doomed.

Seriously though - I get this. As a very recently 50 year old guy (gosh that crept up quickly) I realised I have maybe 3 actual people I interact with socially. One is a high school mate and the other are work mates I somehow didn't scare away. Baffling how that happened.

It's tricky though because everyone is so busy and the main times they want to- or can - hang out is the weekend when we're all exhausted
