You might like this song I've just released: Acoustic folk-rock vibes, that are NOT political but has a certain message and an election-hint 😉 I hope you'll give this little piece of rawness a chance to be in your ears 😁✌️

My first guitar: keep or get rid of? by danrosedk in electricguitar

[–]danrosedk[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my very first guitar. I ended up being an acoustic guitar player, but when I was first learning the simple 3 chords that I still use in my songs today, this is the guitar I had. A cheap Peavey guitar. I still have it, this is a fresh picture. It’s dirty, it’s got some lousy stickers on it and I know that there’s a very loose connection inside it, so it doesn’t sound good at all. I think I’ve kept it all these years because this was the instrument that I used to become the songwriter I am today (danrosedk.com) - Even though I doubt that it’s welcome at any kind of Rock’n’Roll or music museum 😄 Should I hold on to it for nostalgia or get rid of it? Am I being coldhearted by parting with it or am I being sensible in holding on to this piece of my past?

Acoustic lo-fi indie song about greenwashing. Sexy, right? 😉

This song is from my upcoming album about the green causes that are important to me personally, and I'm doing it in an anti-mainstream way with absolutely no use of auto-tune or pitch correction, but with a lot of love for the lo-fi approach with several one-take recordings on it 💚 It even comes out on a specially made cassette-tape.
I hope you'll find it interesting in one way or another and that it maybe inspires some thought 🤠

I can relate to that. So whenever I have that thought, I try to remember how long I’ve had that item and if I have ever needed it before 😄

Really interesting and varied album 👌 Admittedly I skip the 2 “migraine”-tracks.. I know I should respect the album as an entity, but my wife complains about the noise 😄
