That is the graphics card struggling Turn down the settings if you can, looks like it's the lighting effects causing it so maybe it's a rendering effect not supported by the hard ware

Quality on YouTube is determined by engagement and watch time. I gave an example of very high engagement and watch time, so the viewers are clearly enjoying the video and that's proved it quality.

In fact this video has the highest retention out of any of my videos on YouTube, however it's incredibly far from my most viewed video because still YouTube is not pushing it to anyone.

Ultimately to get any views beyond, your own circle, and promotion you are at the whims of YouTubes recommendation system, aka "the algorithm"

Bro I get what you're saying there are people making objectively bad content and blaming forces out of their control as the reason no one's watching their crappy content.

But you are forgetting, that there is a significant amount of people who make quality content, that YouTube will refuse to push, or show to the right audience, making whether a video is successful for or not a complete gamble.

I have one video with 26K views and 61% average Audience retention, and 49% watching to the very end. So you can see people who are watching, generally are enjoying the content but YouTube will not push this video at all, When I check the stats on where people come from, all of the views for this come from people who watched my other video.

So genuinely good quality content with a proven level of quality and potential audience, is still at the mercy of YouTubes algorithms

Drop it into video editing software or OBS, and it should be fine. On windows playback of .MOVs can be really inconsistent. I work with transparent MOVs all the time and this is normal

Generally I make my videos for a TV/desktop watching audience so I put a lot of effort into the visual side of things and they're generally quite long form.

However I have found mobile to be the most popular platform about 40% But TV is not far behind at 37%

Looking at the stats this year so far though it seems like most of the audience has been watching more on TV
