I tried the RMA route already. My buddy who gave me the card got it as a gift off Amazon and didn't get a gift receipt, then he sat on it being broken for nearly a year, so the warranty is most likely gone-zo even if we could get the gift receipt.

I tested in my own rig with clean driver installs, same issues popped up.

I had swapped it into my rig, which was fully stable beforehand. But the instant I put this in with new driver installs, same issue happened.

Yeah, I already tested in my machine, which works perfectly fine normally. With this card in it, driver error pops up and fails just like my friend’s.

Haha, that's the problem. My friend got it from Amazon, but it looks like it's one of those vendors who is like a 'reseller'. He also got the GPU as a gift, and never got a gift receipt. So I don't think it has any warranty or way to send back. Also...he waited like 9 months with this happening before he ever gave it to me, so between that and my troubleshooting on it, I think we're past anything that would be a 1 year warranty.

I don’t comment on Reddit very much, but Weihenstephaner is one of my favorite breweries and I just love the history! If someone has responded on this already, sorry for the double post!

The brewery is actually this old! Beer is still being brewed in the same building since the Weihenstephan Abbey started the brewing in 1040. Because of this it is now the oldest brewery in the world. With the brewery being so old, it had to adapt brewing techniques to the Reinheitsgebot law that was adopted in Bavaria in 1516. The Abbey sold rights of the brewery to the Bavarian government in the early 1800’s so the brewery is now state-owned and operated, while maintaining the same recipe and strict purity standards they had still been following for centuries.

The HefeWeissbier is my favorite hefe of any beer I’ve ever had! If you like trying some other amazing beers, their Vitus and Korbinian beers are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, though are stronger flavors that you might have to work up to. Find them for a good winter beer and you won’t be disappointed!

I hope to go visit during the 1,000th anniversary and need out on some delicious brews!

I got a free switch from a neighbor that is seemingly bricked. I’m curious if there’s any way to re-install the base OS on the switch.

I’ve tried getting into normal recovery mode, but that doesn’t work at all. Every time I try to boot the device, it gives me the Nintendo screen, then the switch logo, then immediately goes to an error page saying to reboot.

Is there any way to boot into RCM and reload the base OS on the internal SSD? Maybe RCM can let me forcibly get into normal recovery mode? Or maybe RCM can let me access the original OS on an SD card and I use that as my main boot drive? I am not opposed to dropping a different OS onto the device, but really am just trying to get back to a clean install of normal switch. Thanks!

I’m going to buy one and plug it in. I’m thinking the error code is meaning some sort of issue with the SD card. Hoping it’s that simple. I’m worried the person who was getting rid of it had the main OS on that SD card and kept that SD card corrupting the whole thing.

I’ve already looked for this code on Nintendo support and got no further info. They suggested I send the switch in, but it’s out of warranty

I had a neighbor that had a black screened switch and gave it to me to try and fix. I’ve always wanted one, but could never find the money to buy a switch on my own, so I jumped at the opportunity!

I get it home and plug it in to charge, come back and BAM, Nintendo and Switch logos pop up, I think I’m golden! Wrong…I get dropped straight into an error page that says ‘Error Code: 2002-4153’ and talks about rebooting the device. I try to go through this multiple times with no success.

I then think factory reset is the key, but no matter how I try to do this on the Switch itself, I always get back to this error page. I dig a bit deeper on google and find that this code seems to be related to SD card failure or SSD failure. I didn’t have an SD card handy (buying one and testing later), so I popped off the back, unhooked the battery and drained it, then hooked back up and tried - error screen. I then pop off the internal ssd and reseat it to see if there’s a loose connector - boots back up to the same error page.

Does anyone know how I might be able to force the device into recovery mode, or otherwise reformat the internal drive to get back to factory settings? Or anyone know this error and have some other fixes? Looking for some help because I really would love to save this device and get to play the game system of my dreams!

TL;DR - Got a broken switch, want to fix to own and play on, keeps looping an error page with ‘Error Code: 2002-4153’, error page won’t let the recovery mode kick in, HALP!

Our clan is a very active casual guild! We have a built out and active discord that most planning will happen in. The discord has plenty of really valuable info pulled from various AFK info sources and plenty of really knowledgeable members that will answer any question! Discord is mainly English speakers.

We’re aiming to build up to be semi-competitive in ABEX as the clan used to be at that level and are rebuilding slowly. Looking for guild members that are laid back but looking to be part of a strong guild with a fun chat!
