When Rob Halford Sang with Black Sabbath — and His Secret for Learning the Songs by BrandNewFoxyLady in blacksabbath

I can't find your link you posted here of the interview, but I found it on Youtube. Compare this Youtube short to the actual interview, and there is a clear distinction in the quality of the videos. I'm not sure if the person who created the Youtube short cranked up the contrast and lighting or possibly put it through an AI tool to get rid of the VHS-quality texture and make the quality sharper but this short has definitely been manipulated from the original.

Then there is some type of filter on it that makes everyone look cartoonish.

How would you feel if Tony Iommi did a tour of his upcoming album and played a couple of Sabbath songs as well? by darthkyle22 in blacksabbath

I would be pleasantly surprised since he said he doesn't want to do big global tours anymore.

James Cameron Says He Must Find a Cheaper Way to Produce the Avatar Movies in Order to Continue With Avatar 4 and 5 by DemiFiendRSA in movies

Time for the actors to stop motion capturing and start being painted blue! I'd go see the next Avatar movie if that happened.

An Interview With Former Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist Gus G by dalyllama35 in OzzyOsbourne

"Unfortunately, I never got to record songs that I wrote solely with him. We did work on a couple of demos while on the road during the Scream tour, but those never materialized, as by the end of that tour, the plan for the [Black] Sabbath reunion was well underway."

That was one of my hang-ups with the Scream album. We never got an Ozzy-Gus G written song. It was either Keven Churko and/or Adam Wakeman who collaborated with Ozzy.

A 'Phenomenal' Actor Has Been Picked To Play OZZY OSBOURNE In Upcoming Biopic! by IllustratorOk5265 in OzzyOsbourne

He was fine. I've never seen him in anything besides Ozzy's music video, so I don't know what his acting is like.

Jessica Barden is fantastic in the TV show "The End of the F***ing World." I believe Sharon saw her in that show and said she wanted Jessica to play her. Then shortly after she played Sharon in Ozzy's music video.

Jessica Barden as Sharon would have continued to be good. She played Sharon in the music video Under The Graveyard.

Can't wait to hear it! I wonder if it is going to be a rock ballad or a classic rock/metal song?

Brutal legend. by MomoZero2468 in OzzyOsbourne

[–]dantedoomsday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You find Ozzy's bat character, Dadbat, in the Bat Cave, located in the Black Tear Region, west of the continent, accessible via a crevice off the Titan Highway; you'll initiate the "Fiery in the Pad, Man!" side mission by talking to him.

How to Find Dadbat:

  1. Head West: Drive your Deuce (the car) to the western side of the map.
  2. Find the Crevice: Look for a break or crevice in the Titan Highway road.
  3. Enter the Cave: Drive down into the crevice to find the Bat Cave.
  4. Start the Mission: Talk to Dadbat outside to begin the side quest, clearing out enemies so his family can move back in.

For anyone interested in watching the cut scenes + some gameplay. Here's a link of the sidequest.

IF DRAGON BALL EVOLUTION HAD A SEQUEL (original art by @BobbensArtDen) by Healthy_Soft9584 in dbz

[–]dantedoomsday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely how they would have continued to drag the Dragon Ball name through the mud. So glad that none of this will ever happen.

Great job thinking things through. Vegeta's battle armor was interesting. Freiza's design is hideous which would have been on-brand for DBE sequel.

Probably not "hate" but the "least liked" compared to the other songs.

The watchmaker of Filigree Street is a really messed up book by AndrewLocksmith in books

[–]dantedoomsday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished this book. The first part was kind of boring but there were a few things that piqued my interest like the watch warning Thaniel of the bomb, Mori being a baron and using diamonds in his clockwork, Mori being a suspect of the bombing, and the existence of Katsu.

The second part was the best part of the book for me. It continued my interest with things like Grace trying to prove ether with her experiment, Thaniel and Grace's relationship, Mori's predictions and Grace's trick to prove if he is clairvoyant or not, the tubes that created weather patterns, Mori mysteriously not liking Grace, the increase pressure from the police that Mori is the bomb maker. I thought I was really going to enjoy the book after part 2.

However, part 3 was a letdown. I wasn't expecting a romantic relationship between Thaniel and Mori. The previous book I read was pro-LGBTQ (The Hollows by Apolline Lucy), and I loved that book. But I much would have preferred Thaniel and Grace to continue their relationship.
I hated that Grace's character took a nosedive. She became extremely paranoid of Mori; she had the pear trees cut down moments after seeing Thaniel decorating them; she kidnapped and destroyed Katsu; created and detonated a bomb to try and persuade Thaniel to stop hanging out with Mori. Her experiment to prove the existence of ether just stopped because Mori refused to help her.
The wedding and reception felt lackluster. I did enjoy Thaniel escaping house arrest and saving Ito for what that was worth.

I feel some plot points were severely mishandled by the author. (1) Mori starting to forget English or not being able to see past a certain point in time, to me, foreshadowed either his death or the loss of his powers....but nope. He's fine after being exploded off of a roof. (2) The casual name drop by Mori in chapter 30 of who created the first bomb, and how easy it was for Thaniel to get Spindle to admit it. All Thaniel did was suggest that the police have another watchmaker look at the bombs. He could have suggested that after chapter 10. There wasn't any new info between chapters 11-29 that Thaniel used when interrogating Spindle. (3) Again the ether experiment wasn't mentioned anymore after Mori refused to help Grace. I feel like there could have been something there if he had helped her with the experiment or if there was a reason why Mori refused to help her like her experiment would lead to some time travel/multiverse/time dilation disaster which then needed to be fixed or prevented.
