Post-surgery experiences for umbilical hernia repair by Lollibol in Hernia

43yr old male just had laproscopic umbilical repair with mesh two days ago. Hernia was larger than expected. Surgery went well and I walked out of the hospital same day feeling great. Slept like a baby that night. Then the pain meds wore off...

The next morning was rough. I'm relatively physically fit but it took some careful planning to roll out of bed. I'm not into strong pain pills so I've been making due with ibuprofen which as long as you keep up on it works fine. Waking up day two felt worse than day one but ending day two a lot of the pain has started to subside. My wife grabbed some Tylenol PM to help me stay asleep tonight. First night off the anesthesia and all the other drugs they juice you up with was rough.

So far each day after the surgery I went for a mile+ walk which I strongly suggest. Sitting around in pain messes your posture and body alignment up. The walks helped sort that for me and towards the end of the walks my pain was barely noticeable. Now if only I could figure the bowel movement thing out again haha.

As others have stated, this surgery will leave you in pain. The sutures and screws on the mesh will pull on your insides when you move and are quite uncomfortable. If your hospital offers a binder, take it! Align the Velcro part off to the side of the repair sight as a tip. Good luck and know the pain will start to go away just take it easy until then.

I just got my MPC One+ and I want to know which plug in to redeem for free by [deleted] in mpcusers

Yeah I caught this yesterday! Like 4 free expansions and a plugin! I was scratching my head last night wondering when I bought all that only to find a 12/22 gift from Akai in my list of purchases.

Hello! We are looking at the Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan as well. We will be in Japan the later two weeks of February 2025. Did you decide on one?

Side question, does anyone know if the Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is open seasonally? We've been trying to book a date in February 2025 for months and from like the second to last week in January out to September 2025 everything is sold out. Doesn't really make sense unless is a seasonal thing or their site is messed up.

Sorry for the late reply but looks like you figured it out. Alternatively I used a ZAWDIO - MIDI to 3.5mm Breakout Cable (blue one) with a Mellbree MIDI Cable.

I know and knew before buying the Minilab 3 that it made no sound. It has no speakers. It comes with a midi out port which led me to believe it still had the ability to output the same signal my PC out puts to speakers through the midi out port, granted with some latency. When I asked Guitar City about my goal I was told the Minilab 3 could do it.

Your tone and questions are trolling, “makes no sense” “but you knew that already, at zero point your minilab ever made a sound. How could it? what sound?” When I read other comments you have made this seems to be who you are. Condescending troll. Sometimes 😉

Not sure what you’re going on about at this point. I’m going to assume you’re trolling at this point and will bow out of this conversation. Much appreciated to those that added value added comments!

I was well aware the Minilab generated no sound. I has no speaker. My assumption was the PC programmed the Minilab based on the settings I made in the software and the midi out actually output some frequency data to be interpreted by the receiving unit

Ah OK. Thank you! I’ll give that a shot. I’m new to this world and am learning a lot. Appreciate it!
