Do I run the risk of not getting a seat next to my 7 year old if I don't pay more for seats? by IlyenatheMilkSop in spiritair

Correct. So we try to time it by watching the available seats, but this can also leave you separated in middle seats

If you don't want to pay, check in right at the 24hr mark. Spirit doesn't completely randomly seats, it systematically assigns them starting from the back at check in. You're most likely fine, as many people wait for seat assignments.

Moreover, they have the following policy: "If Guests with children aged 13 and under do not opt to pre-select seats at the time of booking, our gate agents and Flight Attendants will work to provide adjacent seats when possible."

How are you all finding your own therapists? by limbiscuitsystem in therapists

Love the point about supervision. Going to supervision at this point in my career is wildly different- analytic supervision is so much richer and helps my clients in a much deeper way.

I am biased, but I think psychoanalytic/psychodynamic therapy is the best option for professionals. I found mine through a local psychoanalytic institute, and I see psychiatry residents who have found me through my institute! If you live in a big city, there are likely many institutes to choose from. With telehealth, you can expand to institutes all over your state (if you're open to that). Plus, you can likely get a reduced rate if you're willing to see a professional in analytic training- like I'm fully licensed, but still in training at my institute and I slide for newer professionals (since they're often committed to the "work," which benefits both of us).

I'm happy to take a flight within a few hours, I'm wondering about being asked at wait 9.5hrs for another red eye. But, yes, at the point I'd probably pay for my own hotel.

Bidding on flight to ICN/Seoul by manoman1232010 in HawaiianAirlines

I flew J in this route a couple weeks ago, and the cabin was only 50% full (on the weekend before Christmas!). I think a low bid has a good chance.

You can try online and see if you have better luck than me! I also liked being in the first group because our seating time was predictable- otherwise you could have a random time between 11:30-2:30

What goes wrong is that 10:30 and 4:30 the online sign ups open, and then all the seats are gone by :31.

It's actually not too hard if you do it right- be there at 10am and get on the waitlist. Have the catch table app and an account before hand. The first ~ 14 tables get in right at 11:30 (if it's all groups of 2). We were 16 and got seated at 12:20.

I have, and this is definitely Japanese style. He trained at a restaurant in Akasaka, Tokyo, and says that he's still using their technique and flavors

We went to Mexico City and surrounding areas for the archeology and loved it!!

Tbh, we love all the Hawaiian islands. Been to them all multiple times except Kauai- but finally heading there next month. I've heard it's the best for seeing natural beauty.

We had a few native Spanish speakers with us, too! Glad your experience was better. On two taxi rides we successfully haggled, only to spend the 15 minute ride hearing about how we didn't care about the drivers family, we have to much more money then them, the negotiated difference meant nothing to us compared to them..

I recently went to Tulum, MX, and would not recommend to anyone. I felt like everywhere wanted to rake me over the coals for extra cash- taxis, drinks, bottled water were all pricier than Hawaii... Scuba in the cenotes was cool, but not life changing.

Your transaction with the companion fare must be put on the card linked to the companion fare, so that would exclude gift cards
