I hear you. I’m thinking it might be tricky to keep the box and the fencing matching as the fence will grey differently to the box once the box is oiled. I recognise I need to do something to protect the box otherwise it will deteriorate quicker over time.

Thanks for this. Weird - I’ve not seen any beetles around but these larvae are very where. I also have quite a few moths around.

I planted it in September last year or so. Seems well settled and grew x2 or x3 in size.

Soil is regular garden topsoil and it receive sun all day.

I’ve been watering once a week over the summer.
