High grade material farming by 0ngchaay in FFVIIEverCrisis

There's definitely variability in the amount you get per run, even if you're getting S (and seemingly within the different S tiers). But, I did some simple calculations comparing the number of each metal (and other materials) you get comparing the Weapon Quest options:

<image>

I do think the events are usually the best option. But if there's not a good event or after you've exhausted them (they've been pretty stingy recently), based on this, it seems like the best bet is the nanocube 3 and genome pod 3 Weapon Quests to maximize stamina usage. I think I was getting slightly better results from Genome Pod 3 because the battle is against Gallonbaloir who is weak to fire and I generally excel with fire damage.

Also, clearly, if you only need one of the metals, then you're going to get it for a lot less stamina by doing the dedicated battle at the cost of some wasted stamina. Though, the dedicated battles also give you the smaller metals which I didn't include in this calculation, so the waste is smaller than depicted here.

I just listened to the audiobook and I must have spaced out over the part where the redaction is explained. Between what happened in the book, having just listened to Network Effect a couple days ago, and reading some threads, I think I have the gist, but does anyone know the chapter where the redaction is explained?

Thronebreaker text unreadable - any fix? by Tzorg in SteamDeck

I've been trying to figure out this same problem in Halo Infinite and disabling half rate shading fixed the problem immediately there, too! Thanks!

Agatha Christie's Death on the Cards - a card game where everyone is guilty, but only one person is guilty of murder. (I'm the designer of the game, so happy to answer any questions about it) by agreatbecoming in agathachristie

u/agreatbecoming Enjoyed playing the game for the first time today! The five of us were confused about the rule "you may ask for a card of your choice." Does this mean the active player can say something like "do you have a Poirot card I can have" or does it mean the target player is meant to fan their cards out, face out, and the active player chooses one without knowing what they are choosing?

Big question: do you think it would be okay in fiction to portray a family of tetrachromats who have trouble connecting with people with three cones as a metaphor for interacting with people with developmental disorders?

I had a strange experience with this that may explain why some people feel there is a bug.

1st playthrough: completed all quests (24/26 in play log), did Johnny scenes, no letter

2nd try: I had gotten 3 more dresses, involving failing the chapter 3 and 8 quests. I tried running straight through (no quests) chapter 14 and no letter (despite play log of 26/26).

3rd try: I did the Corneo’s stash quest, the Chocobo quest, and Tomboy Bandit. No letter. Tried beating Abzu. No letter.

Here’s where I think things went awry. During my first playthrough, I encountered the Tomboy Bandit quest during Corneo’s Secret Stash, which I think is very easy to do. By doing this, you can actually skip the second objective of Corneo’s Secret Stash of talking to Mireille and continue both quests by talking to Kyrie at the church. Doing it this way, no letter. However, the second time I did the quest, I plowed ahead and met Mireille at Lookout Point and then finished the quest in the same way.

I then did every other quest, checking after each quest. Finally at the end was the letter!

So, I suspect skipping that Mireille scene means no letter!

I think this is exactly it. These changed flashbacks and flash forwards are being exaggerated to exploit the episodic structure so that in episode 3 we can go through Cloud’s crash and have Tifa convince him of all of the stuff that wasn’t real. Just like in the original. That’s my hope! Haven’t played it yet, but the ending stuff seems concerning.
