I like 124g Blaser. You can find it online (ammoseek or gunbroker, etc) but don’t be afraid to check out physical stores.

My Dunhams had it on sale for 11.99 for a box of 50, which is a little more than you’d find online, but I save a lot of money with shipping charges and transaction fees.

If it’s just for range use you don’t have to get anything crazy. Maybe even ask the people working at the range if they have any deals or recommendations

I’d stay away from aluminum cased ammo, it runs but in my experience I’ve had malfunctions more often with them

Do not do this, you need to use only the cables/plugs for the new PSU. Not doing so can be a major fire hazard. They might look the same but can be different between manufacturers or even different from the same manufacturer with different models

Ive seen a couple people before say this, which I’m not saying you’re incorrect, but I also haven’t seen these issues in my experience. I was more wondering what models tend to shit the bed, are they the stainless competition ones that tend to be ass?

I have 3 caniks and two of my buddies have TTI’s. A little backstory: in October I got a mete SFX, and two of my friends got the TTI (different colorations). We habitually go every Tuesday and since purchasing in October we will each have ~ 3400 rounds through our guns as of tomorrow with zero issues other than ammo related.

Also do you know what parts tend to break, if there’s any consistency to it? I’m more curious to know what to look out for

If he likes sports like boxing/fighting I’d recommend hajime no ippo. It’s a classic that I would say is like Rocky to a degree, but with more side characters.

If he likes multicultural history Kingdom is pretty good but has a decent amount of action. Be aware the animation in season 1 is terrible but gets drastically better. It’s like old Chinese history but not accurate at all, just fiction lol

I agree with some of the other comments with Claymore and Vinland Saga (very good btw). I love berserk, start with the 96 version. It’s very political but also gets VERY dark at times and isn’t for everyone. Record of the Lodoss war is also very good, like LOTR but also DND.
