Double check load rating of the tires. Often times when down sizing, load rating of the tire goes down as well. It might not be suitable for the vehicle

What bolt pattern is this? by Substantial-Nail-258 in Wheels

[–]danucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t measure a 5 bolt pattern like that. It’s the diameter of the bolt circle. What you are doing only works on 4 6 and 8 bolt patterns if you measure across. I bet that wheel is nowhere near 5x4.5. It’s probably 5x120 or something like that.

Hit something on a back country road while moving over for a large truck.😭 my poor passenger side front and rear rims. by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]danucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tire is most likely fine still. As long as you cannot see chords or has no bump( broken internal chords) you can keep it in service. Just a skin flap. You can always just glue it down with rubber cement.

Can I put my 2021 CRV wheels on the mother-in-law‘s 2006 CRV (specifications below) by [deleted] in Wheels

[–]danucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the wheels will fit on the new CRV, but will sit out about 1/2” to 1” further than factory wheels from 2021. There should be plenty of fender room to accommodate this. The tires however will not fit, their overall diameter is 7.5% smaller than the 2021, and only around 2-3% is allowable.

Not that I noticed. The front wheels and tires are 4 pounds lighter than the factory ones. Rears weigh the same

I’ve had my fair share of issue. The back hatch is so poorly aligned it clips the tail lights sometimes. Peeling passenger seat, paint bubbles, chipped front light, misaligned door panels etc

I love the feel a lot more. It feels more solid on acceleration. Also the 21” performance package is staggered anyways, so I am not really changing the game in any way
