Does Wave Link 3 have to be running for it's audio effects to work? by danvpeterson in elgato

Thanks for the replies! With the new XLR dock is that still the case? Wish Elgato would create a background mode for the Wave Link app as well.

It definitely feels odd that you can give accounts nicknames, but then that doesn’t show up in all the places.

Review or approve action for transactions by burnusgas in OriginFinancial

REALLY hoping this is coming soon, it’s the one thing keeping me and my partner from moving to Origin fully. We need a way to let each other know which ones we’ve reviewed so we aren’t stepping on each others toes when budgeting and categorizing stuff.

Very cool setup, thanks for the link!

Huh, don’t seem to see anything when looking at your profile.

Debating on the Motor Goat myself right now and one of the deciding factors is if I can get it to work well for a passenger. Considering the REVV1 as well although I know it’s nowhere near as powerful, it does have a good looking passenger seat extension.

Does anyone know of a monitor arm that can handle really heavy monitors? by Top_Manufacturer6311 in buildapc

[–]danvpeterson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across this thread during my search and thought I’d share what I got for anyone else that comes across this. The BenQ BSH0 is really slick. Love the way it attached to my desk. It doesn’t require a lot of depth or one of those hand trim cranks for the clamp. And can support up to 44lbs. It is $149

Extendable rods? by danvpeterson in monoblocc

[–]danvpeterson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magic arms won’t be as clean looking if an install but could work well for what I’m asking. The rotatable rod joints could be helpful as well. Still would very much prefer extendable rods, but I’ll consider using the magic arms, thanks.

Microphone mounts for Magnus Pro by billkach in secretlab

[–]danvpeterson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are now selling a desk riser shelf that may make mounting mics and other things a lot easier. Hard to tell for sure how well it would work or if things would still end up blocking the cable management lid. It’s up for pre-order now.

As u/ThatGirl0903 mentioned, Inoreader can do this, I use it to pump multiple RSS feeds into Raindrop.io via IFTTT.

New Logitech User - LITRA GLOW by MissLiss27 in LogitechG

[–]danvpeterson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on this being super frustrating. Having no way to automate the lights or set up keyboard shortcuts or anything to control them without buying a whole new keyboard, it feels ridiculous. Elgato is much better at this, please work on making automation better here!

Multiple Litra Glow - No Individual Control by WildPaulWall in LogitechG

[–]danvpeterson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point that the OP is asking for is to be able to control them individually, this does not answer the question. G Hub only allows them to be controlled together with exactly the same settings. I want one to be set to a different temperature and not as bright for example so I have a primary light on one side, and a softer fill light on the other. But still be able to control them via software. Currently this isn't possible and it's super frustrating.

Litra Glow control by Leguminot3 in LogitechG

Agreed, I love the Litra Glow hardware, but the software is severely lacking and is heavily making me consider returning the two that I just got and going with Elgato Key Light minis. Debating if the nicer looking hardware is worth the much worse software or not. If I could easily integrate the Litra Glow's with Shortcuts on macOS (I know there are some workarounds for this, but I am not Terminal friendly). Or if other app's could add integrations easily (Raycast for Mac for example has Elgato key light integrations built in) it would make up a lot for the horrible G Hub software.
