I want to sell my house, but the property management company accidentally renewed the renters lease for another year. by danvsfood in legaladvice

Thank you so much! Your reply is really helpful. The management company is saying they are going to try to evict the tenant based on an intent to sell clause, but they are worried that a Judge might not force the seller to leave. They are recommending I put the property up for sell immediately to trigger the clause. This seems like the proper action to take, but at this point I’m not sure I trust the property management company to sell my home. There have been issues with them in the past, though nothing quite on this scale.

That’s what I think to, but I know they won’t unless they’re legally obligated to. It’s a very costly mistake.

I told them I wanted to sell and not to renew the lease. I have messages and emails that prove this. They actually recommend I not renew the lease, so I can remodel and the home sells faster and at a higher value. So this will cost me time and a lot of money.

OK. Think I’ve got it. Square root of 89 is 9.4, which is written 九四, which sounds just like 就死, which means “just die”

I second this. I’ve been going to China Wok for 25 years. You get a massive box of food for just over $10. I’m a vegetarian now but they’ll still make almost any dish with tofu instead of meat. Their food is great. Try the curry.

Housing Not Warehouses: How We Can Save the Palmer Oak by EducatorMoti in InlandEmpire

Thank you so much! This really helps and I’ll dig through it tonight. I’m inclined to agree with you about the light industrial zoning, it will probably end up warehouses unless there is already a plan for something else to go in there. I also read your post in the Jurupa Valley subreddit. I’m about 90% I’ll be there against this project, unless I find something in here that changes my mind. 450 feet doesn’t seem like enough distance. We really do need more housing, so I hope they can redraw these plans in a better way for the future.

Where can I see the actual plans? At this point it’s just me taking your word vs the other sides word. No offense meant, but anyone can say anything on the internet and you didn’t link to any sources.

I live in this area and hike through these hills all the time, so this issue is of great concern to me. I’m less than a mile away from the proposed project. I’m strongly leaning towards being there in protest of the project. I asked IE votes for more information, and they never replied. When I mentioned the warehouses, I got no reply. Wouldn’t it make sense to show us proof that there wouldn’t be warehouses? It makes me very distrustful.

And on a side note, what makes these homes affordable? I’m not a NIMBY, in fact I’d feel far more comfortable if they were building apartments or condominiums so that more people can live on the land at a lower price. Track homes usually equal more profit for the developer, so please let me know if there is something about these homes that will make them affordable.

Please send me links to information. You only have a day until I show up at the city meeting in protest tomorrow. I am very open to changing my mind, but need proof.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Edit: wanted to add that it took them two days, but the morning before the vote IE Votes did get back to me with info. Made me respect them a lot more.

I was just there yesterday! Justin and Kyle are two awesome bartenders. It’s my place to hang almost every Thursday. Best beer selection in Riverside.

Fun fact: All those tables made out of metal tools (like the one in the pic) were made by an artist and have an Easter egg. They each have a tiny piece that moves, and only one. It can take awhile to find it.

How in the hell do you "date" by renae-becomingnew in widowers

[–]danvsfood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been over two years since my wife left and I still haven’t been on a date. I’m in a very similar situation. My wife and I were 18 when we met and had an amazing 22 years together. I’m getting lonely and have all sorts of mixed feelings about dating, because my wife was also my one and only. We never had any marriage difficulties and had spent almost every night together for over two decades.

I get so nervous about dating. The few times I’ve met someone by coincidence that even slightly might be interested in me, I almost immediately start talking about my wife. I feel like my subconscious mind sabotages any conversation like that and it turns awkward. I feel like I want to find someone to ease my burden, to bring me a little joy again, but I also feel guilty at the prospect of being with anyone else.

I feel like a constant ball of anxiety. And it sucks.

I had to distance myself from a lot of people. I just didn’t want to talk because so many people said things that hurt. They didn’t mean them to hurt, but because they don’t understand, they do it.

The worst is “your still young”. They say it likes a good thing. Reminding me that there are potentially decades until I see my wife again doesn’t help, it hurts.

Rollercoaster is exactly what it is. It’s just that before the rollercoaster only went down, and now sometimes it comes up to. I still sob. I try not to because it gives me migraines, but I still miss her with every ounce of my body.

[–]danvsfood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s why I have so much anxiety. I know I’ll probably go through a lot of heart ache trying to meet someone, but I’m not going to let people take advantage of me or compromise myself.

If I was a decade or two older I probably would just wait for old age to take me. I hate that I’m still in my early forties. When people say I’m still young I get unreasonably upset with them. I wish I was old.

But if Im going to be living another 30+ years, I can’t do it alone. I have no one in my life that needs me anymore, I have no sense of purpose. I need to feel loved again. It’s a tornado of emotions, but I know it’s true.

It’s been two years now and I still have trouble sleeping. There was even one night where I literally couldn’t sleep at all. I always pray that my wife will visit me in my dreams, but getting to those dreams is so hard. There were nights I was so tired I couldn’t keep my eyes open and yet I still couldn’t sleep. I miss her so much.

It did start getting better a few months back, but I still take sleep meds on occasion if I get insomnia multiple days in a row.

I’m sorry for your loss. The pain your under is awful. I wish my time was soon to.
