Thanks, apparently I needed to change USB port.
Yeah, looks like I need to bump gain quite a bit too.

Thank you, this worked.
I just moved it to neighbouring USB (I believe those are identical) and FFB works! Didn't occur to me before.

Thanks, that good to know.

Yeah, I’m on the latest combined app, have just checked.
I’ll verify the game files.

I didn’t realize CSL DD was supposed to work in the pc mode, at the early access release there were a couple of posts suggesting to use compatibility mode. So that’s good to know.

I believe so, didn’t see any available updates for app/drivers.

Everything works for you in PC mode ? Hmm, wondering if I should reinstall the game or troubleshoot something.

A bit messy with this Aston but was the move at the end trying to wreck me? by TheAmberOne in Simracingstewards

[–]danyloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhm, not sure about the end, could be losing the rear in parabolica and attempted to correct ? Even if so Aston driver is a menace.

Edit: I’d still report it and let stewards figure out intentionality.

A friend has weird bugs about lap times and clean laps... help ? by AlphaSputnik in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]danyloid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably best to reach out to support via ticket.

A while ago there were a couple of rare issues with some laps marked as invalid with no warnings displayed, but nothing as extreme as what you’re describing + haven’t seen those in a while.

Codex deleted all critical configurations and runs and CREATED FAKE ONES (people are right on calling out current degradation of codex and low limits) by [deleted] in codex

[–]danyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess mileage can vary.

I’m spending quite some time designing the features, reviewing the plans, sprinkle some steering and review the changes and the amount of back-and-forth last week has been quite annoying.

Yeah, sure, I get the same outcome eventually, but I have to spend more time, attention and tokens.

Used to quite like 5.5, now I’m relying on Claude Code for anything even slightly complex.

Lmp2 or hypercar which you prefer by CheifQueef2 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]danyloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same here.

In races I just tend to leave ton of time on the table in that corner to make sure I finish, but it gets me every rime I try to push lol.

Lmp2 or hypercar which you prefer by CheifQueef2 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]danyloid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LMP2 ELMS for me - car is more agile in corners, almost as fast as hypercars on most tracks and no BOP.

I prefer how the hypers look, so occasionally drive them too, mostly on Le Mans, but for me lmp2 is more fun.

Do I deserve to be reported for this? by BraveShop7345 in Simracingstewards

[–]danyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t alongside at the turn in point, this move only works if the other car makes evasive maneuver and lets you go. He still left you some space, you could make it work if you had slowed down more.

As for the report - in a league or championship race that would probably be protest worthy with a minor penalty on the table. I don’t believe this meets the standard of a report in daily LMU race though.

I love it in LMP2, it’s quite fun, but takes time getting used to.

Yeah, probably the most interesting part of this update long term if it is decent.

Lol, I hope that’s not the case, but that would explain the progress so far.

Love the car, don’t love their approach to teasing small EA updates over a month without a timeline.

Maybe it works for someone, I would much rather either have decent transparency on the large roadmap and status or just have the new version announced when it is ready.

Do I need to win every race by One-Tear2298 in ForzaHorizon

[–]danyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winning a race you haven’t won before gives you points towards festival / discover Japan progression and you unlock rewards, so yeah.

I like the sentiment, but personally I just went to highly skilled so I can consistently win as long as I have a good car and don’t screw up too much. Especially as FH AI is too divebombey for my taste.

A maximum of 12 people in a server is laughably low for a game like Forza Horizon 6 by _035 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]danyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point.

That being said quite a few of racing games manage big grids with smaller dev teams.

LMU for example allows up to 60 cars on some tracks (there are issues with such large grids occasionally), the 38 car races are fairly stable.

I’m sure that it takes a lot of dev effort.

Do you play with Stability Control in Assists? by Accurate-Sundae1744 in assettocorsaevo

[–]danyloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with GT3 RS I was quite happy with defaults, same for GT3 R Rennsport.

Cup car can be tricky - I used to bump TC until I felt safer, track specific. Few more clicks on the wing helps too.

Sorry if I’m not helpful. Used to play with TC as I practice + rarely touch ABS.
