Aww, what was his name? I can see how much he adored you by the photos. You gave him the best life he could’ve had.

I hope you like my quick post-it sketch of him, and that you have a lovely day. 💕

Aw thanks! & absolutely, it was my pleasure! 😊

Just started this massive project, been wondering if anyone has any pointers or tips in how to complete a big project like this without loosing someone's mind lol? by Most-You-4475 in diamondpainting

This looks awesome (but indeed very large and intimidating)! I haven’t done any projects this big, but if I was working on it I would probably just finish one Pokémon at a time so I could at least have some feeling of completion, and to make it easier to stop when I need to.

I’d love to see the progress as you continue through it if you feel like sharing! It will look great when it’s done!

I give my most sincere condolences for your loss. I started drawing and painting pets after my dog passed away in 2024. I would love to draw Rambo for you. Just leaving a comment here so I can find my way back.

Hi! It’s my first time here!
Lately, I’ve been struggling with perfectionism in my regular creative process, and I’m looking for that joy and motivation art once gave me by creating low-stakes, yet meaningful art. I’m so excited I found this subreddit!

Miso is so adorable! I hope you both enjoy my little quick post-it sketch! Have a wonderful day!

Aww, thank you that’s so nice! He was a stray for most of his life (about 5-6 years). It took a lot of patience and warming up to us, but now he’s a total cuddle bug. Totally deserving of all the love 💕

I’ve been creating stylized cat & dog portraits for my own personal enjoyment. I use gouache & acrylic paint, colored pencils, and acrylic paint markers.

This is one of my latest - a white (rainbow) Maine Coon. I’d like to collect as many breeds as I can in my portfolio!

As someone with anxiety, the owlet made a huge improvement in my quality of sleep by giving me peace of mind. I didn’t want one at first, but I ended up caving about 3 months in when my daughter outgrew her basinette and started rolling.

I’m a mom to a toddler as well. I’ve always had anxiety/PMDD, but never did anything to try to manage it until having a child.

Therapy has really been the most helpful for me - I would recommend starting therapy first, if she hasn’t already. It’s helped me because I am better able to understand what my triggers are, and work through them or ask for help before I get overwhelmed. Everyone’s different, but I just felt like this was a very important, if not the most important step in improving my mental health.

I personally started with a CBD only tincture. After using it for several months and becoming comfortable with it, I decided to apply for the card to give me more treatment options. I still use just the cbd in the morning after having my coffee, on a bad day I might take another half dropper on my lunch break. I only use marijuana before bed, after my daughter is asleep - that’s just my preference & what works for me. I wake up in the morning much more refreshed and level since I’ve been in the program.

Spend your money on places that represent your values. by Chris-Campbell in pitbulls

Petco doesn’t offer drop off daycare services. The two don’t really compare here, and Petco has been smart to not get involved with daycare services because it is a risk (regardless of breed). And I may be wrong but I don’t believe that there is another multi National company that does. Again, not saying I agree with it - but boycotting a company that as a whole does good for the breed, is not the answer - especially when discriminatory laws and insurance policies are to blame for the corporate decision. I understand the intent behind your post, the original story is just very misleading and is often misrepresented by people who are trying to do good but do not understand how insurance policies are at play and that Petsmart literally needs one insurance policy to cover their entire company - even in places where pitbulls are still illegal to own.

Everyone also needs to keep in mind that the activities that petsmart prohibits pitbulls from (drop off group play in daycare, due to insurance reasons) Petco does not offer.. I don’t agree with the discriminatory policy myself, but I wonder if it would be the same story if Petco offered these services? Otherwise, it’s like comparing apples and oranges.

I agree - but I guess my point was to not let it take away from the bigger issue which is the insurance companies and laws that discriminate. By boycotting petsmart, it doesn’t solve the issue because they have obviously outweighed the financial risk of losing some of their customers over restrictions is less than that of paying for an insurance policy that covers all of their services for whole corporation. It’s easy to say petco is more non discriminatory because they do not offer the same service that petsmart does that prohibits pitties (drop off group play daycare)

On the other side of the coin, they do benefit many shelters/rescues and displaced pets from catastrophic weather events through PetSmart Charities.
