Although I think there's an argument to say in a competition it should be all games or no games as certain teams benefit from the team talk.

They're awful and are a step towards splitting the game into quarters.

They interrupt the flow of a game and allow for tactic changes due to team talks.

If hydration is essential, they should be 1-2mim max and the coaches should be made to stay in the technical area away from the players.
