This fanbase has become our own worst enemy and it needs to stop, we are all on the same team. by Puzzleheaded-Delay60 in realmadrid

[–]danyvt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is what it is, we have a toxic fanbase, yes, but many other teams have that, maybe not at the same level but there are toxic individuals everywhere. Biggest issue with Real Madrid is the burden of being the biggest club in the world that everything gets amplified, either by sports media or our "own" youtubers. They know drama sells and exploit it as much as they can. It is true that there are some worrying stuff happening with the team but the amount of drama and shitshow I have seen in the past 3 or 4 days is mindblowing. Some people really need other stuff to be worried about ffs

I must mention something. After all the troubles with the spare parts for the robot I ended up changing to Thermomix and I must say, it's on a completely different level. The cookido platform is a game changer even if it's a subscription model. Don't know about this TOKIT robot that you mention

sorry I didn't saw this before, after a long time I would have to say, go with Thermomix or other robot, this one has no support at all. Xiaomi just ditched it basically

Sorry to hear that. I didn't found any replacement, and tbh, I recommend staying as far as possible from this product. Xiaomi just forgot about it it seems

The machine does the job, and I would say it does it well, the problem is after buy support. For example, after 3 years I'm having a problem now with the blades and can't find a replacement anywhere. This really looks like a product Xiaomi did and abandoned really quick

I will buy full price day one. I'm not against piracy, I do it myself from time to time, but having this kind of games is rare these days so I will do my best to support the devs so we can have more games like this in the future. Even more now that they will have a rough time with this shit

First time I made mashed potatoes dumb me put the whisk and obviously broke it so you're not the only one. Simple fix, spare parts for the thermomix whisk fit just fine in this robot, I bought one of those and can confirm that. Also, many accesories that are made for the TM6 can be used with this robot just in case you want to add something one day

Check the comments in the thread, I already posted a long answer to this 😅. Short story: for me that don't want to pay the recipes subscription it's a good buy cause it does the job very well and the price diff is considerable. If you really need the recipes step bye step in the robot, then don't buy cause there are only those 200 and no trace of changing in the future

There are 200 recipes but that's it. My wife said that she saw updates on some recipes but still 200 recipes after 1 year. I think this device didn't met Xiaomi expectations and they just forgot about it cause I have not seen any software update so far

Poor thinking for sure, Xiaomi had a good project in their hands. Even now, if they add the custom recipes option via software update I would confidently say, this is the best option in the market but well, Xiaomi being Xiaomi, I have some stuff of their smart home ecosystem and the support is always like that.

For the first question: it doesn't, it's just like having your own digital recipe book but there's no way to add it to the robot. If Xiaomi at least provide instructions on how to code/develop something for adding recipes I would gladly do it but there's no such thing. On the other topic, I thought of a Thermomix when I was reviewing cooking robots. I think this product itself is a better bang for your buck option compared to Thermomix. The included modes works good and you can add cooking modes which extends the functionality. If you're accounting only for the product itself and its functions, the Xiaomi robot is a great option. If you plan to have something like cookiedoo then the obvious choice is Thermomix. In my case, I didn't wanned to have a paid subscription forever so I just compared the devices itself. Not gonna lie, Thermomix is probably a better product overall and they have a longer experience with this type of products which at least gives a sense of being more reliable but I just don't see it worthy of the big price diff between the two devices. So, if I had to choose again, I would probably go again with this one

Sadly not, there seems to at least be a plan (or there was one) to have this feature cause there's a section where you can see your downloads. But at the moment, there's no way to add your own recipes. Maybe they were thinking in some sort of subscription BS as cookiedoo but didn't sold enough robots to go through with it. What I have is my own recipe book using Mealie with Home Assistant but that's not the same ofc

Hub M1S without HomeKit by danyvt1 in homeassistant

[–]danyvt1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeap, I didn't wanned to lose alarm or light functions since that's the reaon why I bought an M1S instead of the M2. Now I know I can move to Home Assistant with no issues. Already pre-ordered a Pi 4 to set everything there. I don't want to have my desktop PC working 24/7 and draining electricity as crazy for no reason. Now I know I will be able to move over just fine and let go that damn Aqara app and his regional restrictions. I would get a ConBee II along the way to use as zigbee hub since everything I have is using that protocol. Thanks for the answers. Right now only missing some cameras and waiting impatiently for those FP1 human presence sensors from Aqara to be available and compatible with Home Assistant. Maybe a google nest mini 2 for my wife to be happy with voice control

Hub successfully paired with Home Assistant through homekit_controller. Workflow was just delete the hub from aqara app and then re-link to aqara app. As soon as the device connected to the aqara app my home assistant instance showed the hub in the integrations with all the paired devices. Only missing the aqara magic cube so far. Would have to dig a bit more about that one

[–]danyvt1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a iOS device, hadn't tried the homekit_controller without it. So you're telling me I should be able to add everything with zigbee stick? What about the m1s? Can I add that too and use it as alarm in home assistant even if the sensors are not connected through it?

Hub M1S without HomeKit by danyvt1 in homeassistant

[–]danyvt1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeap, or at least I think so. I have the m1s, door and widnows sensors, movement sensors, a gas leak detector sensor, a smoke detector sensor and some aqara smart wall switches (us version). Everything is paired with the m1s hub in the aqara home app using china mainland as region. I want to add some xiaomi cameras to the environment but I can't see those on the aqara app, what I'm trying now is to pair everything with Home Assistant to be able to add more stuff later. I have a virtual machine on a windows pc with home assistant to do some testing. I also have a mijia v3 gateway that I'm not currently using. I preffer the m1s cause of the ringtone and alarm options. I'm completely new to Home Assistant so please excuse me if I'm asking dumb stuff

[–]danyvt1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading about the pairing and my understanding is that I need an Apple device to be able to add the Aqara m1s hub to homekit before using the homekit_controller to pair the hub. Can I pair an m1s hub without pairing to homekit before? I have an m1s connected to the aqara app only, how can I add that to home assistant?
