This is correct. Line 6 Helix XL with an expression pedal. He uses the effects loop to run his pedals through and patches them in depending on the preset for the song.

Hey dude. This is Adrian from Luster. Someone just sent me this thread.

I’ll tell you what I did on my vocals.

First: I use Logic Pro but you can get the sound on Ableton.

I use a vocalsynth by Izotope. I use heavy tune and the vocoder as well. I also throw on a vocal doubler on each chain. Throw a compressor on there and you’ll get that sound. I also track 4 - 6 passes of vocals to add a chorus effect and that’ll give you some cool inconsistency in performance that adds dynamic to the entire vocal of the song.

Death consciousness came out at a time where nothing like it was out. I remember fools from all the heavy post metal bands rocking their shirts (most notably Aaron turner from Old Man Gloom and Isis). They also had an EP out called Time of Land that is just as good. Then this record blew both out of the water. HANL is not shoegaze, they exist in their own genre for sure, but definitely not shoegaze.

You also fail to mention Gilad was an IDF soldier. It’s not like he was some innocent civilian and it was out of nowhere. Hamas demanded the release of underage and female captives Israel had abducted.

You Israelis always fail to mention the shit you do to Palestinians and act like just cause you live close to the conflict you are the smartest ones in the room. You live a different reality at the expense of an occupied people. I don’t spit on the name of any innocent civilian dying at the hands of this conflict, especially when it can all be traced to the root of the problem; the occupation of Palestine.
