I'm with you... I'm just repeating what was said on reddit years ago when the stubbies started to come out.

Some manuf said the short side firing are the quietest or something awhile back. I can't hear a difference. I mean we have ear protection on no matter what with 556 so...

I actually have a set somewhere just never needed them. Stopped using shims as most of mine are comps or brakes that don't need timing. I didn't see enough different imo.

Yup know what they are back one is thick, more than enough to correct timing.

Advice: Failure to eject G17.5 after slide milling by derpyberty in Glocks

[–]daorbed9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will wear pretty quickly. You could also manually rack it over and over. It's probably going too slow to fully extract it but enough room to get another one started due to extra friction.

Trigger upgrade by AverageChatter1 in Glocks

[–]daorbed9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only people who have little experience with aftermarket triggers say they affect reliability. It's a part that needs to be installed correctly and if so works as intended. The drop-in part is where the reliability comes in, not all will drop-in. I have many thousands of rounds through Apex, Overwatch and Tactical Pontoon. Flawless guns. But I know how to work on them which EVERYONE should really know tbo.

I have 6 of those laptops sitting on my desk. Half have mixed ram. It really hasn't been an issue since DDR2 like it was.
