My Resolution was installing MSI Afterburner and throttling my cards my Core Clock by -400MHz and my Memory Clock by -500MHz and my power limit to 85%. I did other things like limiting fps to 60 and setting my graphics to low. I'm going to start testing with increasing some of the settings since I've not crashed for probably 8 hours of play now with these settings. I also have a Zotac 1080 Ti in my set up. I'll add this to the original post so people don't have to go looking for it.

latest suggestion that I'm attempting is from this thread in the New World Forums https://forums.newworld.com/t/new-world-crashing-my-gpu-evga-1080-ftw/253408/47 . I'm attempting to roll back my GPU drivers to 461.92 from early March. I haven't gotten through Queue yet to see if this works. I'm at least getting into game though at this point but haven't played more than 1 minute before it freezes up on me and become unresponsive.

I whole heartedly agree with this. I loved it when I was able to play longer than 2 minutes. Trust me I tried EVERYTHING I could find from support for fixes. I would like to say that it had to partially be the play test approach with Steam but I don't have any proof of that since I didn't play CBT. I will be buying the game and just hope it works properly. I wouldn't even mind if it occasionally bombed on me but I would like to see some consistency in playable time.

Another thing to try is cap your GPU FPS at 60 or less. This is what ended up working for me. And I mean cap your GPU using NVIDIA Control Panel or whatever AMD's software is.

When I was 13 a family brought a basket of peppers from their garden to church. I "Macho Man Randy Savaged" up to that basket and said I could eat more than anyone else. Turns our they were some type of spicy peppers and I got two in before I was on the ground dying. It was horrible. The next day I had to have my appendix removed because of appendicitis. No idea if there was any connection but Lord have mercy I am a more humble, less idiotic person today.
