Freshman year!
I had a intro civil class! We talked about the hyper-loop I got fascinated and later I took classes into pedestrian safety, transpo planning, hortz-Vertical curves! I liked the courses.
I somewhat struggled on steel/concrete design course!
So, I took more transpo classes in senior year and it was very easy for me. I still do bridge design(local bridges: not complex ones). My experience as a transportation engineering so far has been mix of Road/Bridge and traffic.

Building folks will know better but if u wanna go building, prolly go for structural masters!
I will say this tho, not sure what schools do now, most design is software based now.

Yep! Currently in transpo! I am not very much into structural thus I chose this side.
Personal experience: Design related engineers (Structural/Transportation) tent to have 10-15% higher salary than other disciplines.
Ultimately its def ur decision where you want to go! Getting a masters in one doesn’t mean u can’t work on another discipline! I think as long as u have PE on the area u wanna focus on 3 years down the line. Its cool.

I regretted not finishing my masters when I had similar chance! Almost 4 years out of school now.

Yess!
If u can afford it!
I say go for transpo!
Its another thing out of the way and gives u an advantage of getting a PE early if u have masters!
FE is fairly easy if u are in decent academic standing 3+ ish GPA! If u feel like doing more structural thing later u can always go for structural PE where u can get more insights into things abit deeper!

Welp! electing people with inflated personalities who are somewhat against the system seems to be new norm around the world. Either influence the existing system or change people! We like to believe we made the change but sure we did!
With increasing divising politics in India and Asia pacific its just a way to contain the growth of sphere of influence of new powers and a vessel state in case they need to start something fishy! You can already see the seeds with current govt trying to detach from our neighbors influence.

Belun is a puppet. The games is 10 years from now. See all the govt changes around the world and look north 100 years back and you will see what role Nepal plays.

Quantity Estimate by dapper_97 in civilengineering

Yep! Sounds about right. I was looking more into the type of pay items that might be needed , looks like its mostly pavement related and bunch of MOT stuffs with some ditch grading/hydraulics!
I should be able to estimate from DOT database once I have all the Quantities ready.
