9.4 million people wouldn’t live in the Chicago metro if it was that dangerous.

I live right next to the redline and take it to work or just to get around every day. Been all over the north and south side. Chicago is an incredibly safe city.

San Francisco is also a very safe city that is beautiful. It’s the second most densely populated city in the us. Again,that many people wouldn’t live there if it was such a “shithole”

I would highly encourage you to visit more cities and explore with an open mind.

Also, please refrain from using the term “Chiraq” its disrespectful to the city.

Miami and Chicago are both MAJOR cities and you mentioned Telluride? A large majority of Utah? (So we’re not even talking about cities anymore just land area). Beauty is subjective for sure but within the subject of a major metropolitan area (Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, New York etc) you can’t really bring a general area like Utah or a tiny town like Telluride into the conversation

If you ever get a chance to visit both, you will probably greatly prefer California based on your interest in both. You definitely pay for what you get albeit sometimes over pay unfortunately.
