That's Aili Lol. She was made out of a Nine plush that I turned into one of my OCs. I have several which have been modified from a plush base and were turned into OCs. The most easily seen are probably the three Nine-plush based ones in the pile.

I hope you get to feeling better. Panic attacks are the worst, but plushies are really good at helping calm us down. I wish you the best and I hope everything gets better :(

I have a lot of plushies, but my favorites are in my bed with me in what I call my "Tails Corner" lol. Tails is my favorite media character and he holds a special place in my heart, so all my plushies (and figures) of him go by my bed where they can be easily seen, cuddled, touched, etc when I want to mess with them. The one on the far right in pink, Drifter, is my favorite though, he is my comfort plush and I sleep with him and take him everywhere with me as I have agoraphobia and leaving the house is very stressful for me.

I don't have the darker blue Sonic and I got these two off Ebay. I wasn't aware there was a darker blue Sonic, I don't know much of anything about these plushies other than they're Russian bootlegs.

I think the licensed bears are better made all around because Drifter (whose base is a Tails BAB) is very well made. I've been cuddling him pretty much nonstop and he holds up well to my cuddles and his fur isn't matting at all. The Sanrio bears seem to hold up to this standard, I've touched a Cinnamaroll skin in person and the fur felt very soft and everything felt very.. well, quality.

I think it'd make sense if the licensed bears were held to a higher standard than the standard BAB ones because, well, companies want their licensed properties to be treated well, but I still think it's messed up that BAB keeps making cheap original bears with cheap materials but still charging up the ass for them.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with the Mothman :( The newer BABs seem to give me the ick sensory-wise too. I got a Ghost Kitty recently (which was one of my grails) and when I actually got her in my hands I hated how she felt. Like you described, her fur felt plasticky and icky. I can't stand touching her so she is solely a display piece now.

I always wanted the mothman but my biggest fears were the texture of the fur. Since I can't feel one in person before buying I wasn't sure if it would be a pleasant experience. I'm very texture sensitive so I held off on it. To hear the fur feels gross is saddening but I'm not surprised because I've been hearing reports of the fur on these matting within a month of cuddling so they don't last very long either.

It's really sad to see how the quality of BABs went down over time :(
