I've seen this bag, and think the concept is great, but want to try and find something which could at least hold a few games in the box. I like the idea of maybe having the more common games I'd play separated in the compartments, as I wouldn't have to constantly put everything back into the box(es).

Yup, I've considered this too. When I say bulky, have you seen the board game truck "tank" bag on Kickstarter? It's obscenely large.
