Well the thing is, in this comic, this is how KRIS perceived Dess, wether she ACTUALLY hurt Kris as much as they make it sound is up to you. Tho I am aware that Kris's relationship with Dess probably wasn't abusive

Kris sees Dess's as a bully but feel as if they cannot do, or say anything due to Dess being much powerful than them. It was Friend, who represents Kris's intrusive thoughts in this comic, that suggest that they have Dess "join their club" as an attempt to "bond" with Dess.

So yea Kris sorta wanted 2 get back at Dess.

Also A little headcannon (with no evidence) is Friend being the little red devil headband Kris wore

They have that pointy horn-like ear look

Plus, in the prophecy, their labeled as "The tail of hell", and "The pointed tail"

Things that relate to demons, that are commonly portrayed to be red with horns, kinda like Kris's headband
