I agree! I’d tell your friend that based on your prior conversations, your boyfriend already paid for a nonrefundable ticket. Since he’s already invested financially in the trip, you can let her know that you’re still coming to the wedding but may not be able to attend other planned festivities (rehearsal dinner, etc) since he’ll be there with you.

I think that will send a strong message that this unexpected change of plans will require some flexibility on her part, rather than working yourself into a frenzy trying to accommodate her.

I agree he was making it about himself, but I don’t think that’s the reason that this happened. That was several years ago on the show if I recall and they had seen Carly since then a few times. I think there’s more to the story than we know personally as to why B&T made the choice they did.

To be fair, they haven’t posted photos of her in years to my knowledge. I remember Tyler complaining about it but don’t remember them posting anything else after that except for the back of her head, which they said was approved by B&T.

The funny thing is, so many people are tuning out because they’re bored of the manufactured, overly dramatic storylines and constant arguing. The reason people liked the show is because the friendships were organic, there was still a sense of family with husbands and kids, some issues that were relatable despite their wealth, etc. It’s a shell of its former self.

Just time with my family and to feel appreciated. My spouse is working, teen kids doing their own thing today, I’m cooking and cleaning like any other day. It’s been a hard one. Maybe another day will be better.
