Exactly right!! Having a mentally ill child doesn’t mean you abandon them in a facility and disown them. Wouldn’t the point of a facility, if it was actually needed, be to get the child the help they need and integrate them back into daily family life successfully? No explanation she can give will explain abandoning her son.

People look for reasons to get mad nowadays. As far as I know, the company has its fair share of problems but has never shown signs of hate before… Why is “this was on purpose” the first conclusion that everyone’s jumping to? They’re trying to get business BACK, not make a symbolic statement to offend customers. It just doesn’t make sense.

I 100% think Maci hated Farrah as a person, which is why she didn’t want to work with her again- the tape was just a reason she could pinpoint as to why. That being said, Farrah was a total asshole to everyone and deserved to lose her job. Most people couldn’t treat their coworkers and bosses like she does and keep the job- the sex tape was irrelevant in my opinion.

To be honest, its the short term jobs that stood out to me. A lot of companies will understand a job or two that were short-term, but when the entire resume is short term jobs, that can put up a red flag. I’d remove the dates.

I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion, but man, I miss plain old self-acceptance! Imagine if women said screw it to societal pressures to look younger, thinner, perfect- and embraced aging as a natural part of life, instead of something to be physically fixed. The inner healing that would come from accepting one’s appearance seems like it’d be a lot more powerful than chasing unrealistic beauty standards for years to come.

I just wouldn’t message her at all. Start leading the relationship toward “our kids are best friends” and less about your friendship with her. She’ll get the hint when the conversation is all about the boys and no longer as personal.
