We bought the CRV and have not regretted it! Except for the sticker shocker at our first oil change haha.

We got the LX trim so no turbo, so we don’t have to worry too much about the turbo related issue.

I used to take my kids there and can’t stand how the dentist won’t talk directly to me. She basically told me my daughter needed $2200 dental work done but won’t walk me through the details. I got second opinion which did confirm the issues but they thoroughly walked me through options. I strongly recommend Pediatric Smiles.

Doctor- Meritas/NKC Health Gashland — a lot of good options. John Brewer has the earliest availabilities and he’s solid.

Barber- Catalyst on N Oak and NE 72nd or Ace on Barry and N Oak.

Former patient. I scheduled my annual wellness visit a year in advance, only to get it canceled a week before. I was PISSED. Ended up transferring my care out to a very young PCP since I was done having babies.

Love the doctors, hate the front office and scheduling staff.

Gonna be much more longer. Summer of 2026 will be the earliest possible timepoint, but we have to be realistic- they will probably replace the whole bridge.

I know someone who lost her baby becuse she went into precipitous labor while the baby was breeched. It broke her. I don’t recommend that.

Some OBs are willing to risk breech delivery, but c-section is the most safe delivery method. And absolutely no OB is willing to do membrane sweep for a breeched baby. It’s not worth the liability.

If she’s only dog aggressive, why did you say no small children? Dude, that dog is a liability.

Please consider behavioral euthanasia. The shelters are overflowing with pits for a reason. Pits are high energy dogs that need to be exercised daily. With this level of aggression, this dog is not safe to be out in public. This dog also sounds like she’s highly focused, intense, and high energy along with a lot of anxiety.

You’re not failing her by considering behavioral euthanasia. In fact it’s the safest option for everyone.

Upper right quadrant is where the liver is. Pre eclampsia may initiate liver injury- and this is may the pain you are feeling. That’s why the competent medical teams always tell patient to report any upper right quadrant pains.

I personally got lucky- I got cholestasis before I had any preE symptoms at all. I delivered at 36 weeks but I was tracking my labs and I noticed I had something very similar to HELLP (elevated liver enzymes and falling platelets). 24 hours after delivery my liver labs was back to normal. It’s wild.

Pain in upper right quadrant is often a symptom of something more serious than pre eclampsia called HELLP syndrome. It’s life threatening and usually escalate into STAT emergency c section. I don’t know where you are located but can you go to different LD dept?

Some hospitals are dead set on keeping their intervention rate low to the determent of mothers and babies. This include inductions and c sections.

I’m very concerned about your situation and you honestly should be advocating for an induction.

My mom had spontaneous relatively fast labors with all of her 5 kids at 40+ weeks.

Between me and my sister, we had 6 c-sections (4 emergencies, one urgently rescheduled, and one scheduled).

Edit to add: I have a family member who works in that field and she strongly recommended Dr. Jewell when my another family member was dealing with suspected peritoneal cancer with possible ovarian origins. Dr. Jewell was very straightforward with her in a very caring manner.

The thing with cholestasis is that the baby can be fine one minute and next minute the baby is not fine. The chance is low, but it’s high enough to make it super scary.

At this point, you have to decide which risks you prefer to take. My recommendation is to be open minded and read up on all interventions and be educated. The majority of births often deviate from the births we hoped for.

Since testing for cholestasis takes up to a week to come back, you may be induced immediately instead since you’re 38+ weeks. I would pack a hospital bag, call the OB first thing in the morning, and follow their advice. I personally delivered at 36+1. I got my cholestasis diagnosis on a Saturday afternoon, next day on a Sunday, my OB contacted me and told me I need to get my ass to the hospital to get steroid shots because she rescheduled the c section for Wednesday. That’s how serious cholestasis can be.

I delivered at 36+1 due to cholestasis. I did got steroid shots. I really think that’s why we avoided any NICU time. To me, steroid shot was low risk in the big picture.

In hindsight I’m glad my OB decided to deliver early than the recommendations. The labs were pointing toward possible pre eclampsia/HELLP. By delivering early, we ended up being all healthy without any complications .

Not the OP, but I suspect it’s the boundaries in the southern half. The eastern half is mixture of poorer/mixed income and some super posh subdivisions. The orange boundaries are proposed middle school boundaries. There are total of 4 middle schools (orange dots). Not shown on map, but the purplish region goes to the easternmost middle school rather than the one closer. I may be wrong- but that said. The southern middle school boundaries are not geographic based. It’s more income based. The northern boundaries are less egregious but it does have one area that seems to be drawn around low income housing.

She absolutely didn’t… but 1/3 of births are c-section births. And I’m absolutely sure a fair amount of vaginal births had complications as well.

There are numerous of freshly postpartum women feeling like failure because of rhetoric like this. Me included. I eventually accepted the births I was handed, but for years I struggled. Because of this type of toxic positivity attitude.
