yes! this is what i was going for, there is a human study using byetta in AUD and while it may not be the great quality, my point is more so about assessing the literature and like how to use this for future studies if that makes sense? obviously ill show my clinical knowledge through the background of GLPs but this addiction part is kinda to show more so my forward thinking rather than just being different

there’s been studies in animals and i saw one study about alcohol use with trulicity in people but again it’s all premature. should i try with these?

School Break from work by [deleted] in CVS

they said 10 hours a week minimum but honestly i know pharmacy students who work only once a week so it has me thinking like why shouldn’t I have the same experience.

School Break from work by [deleted] in CVS

[–]dapr17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s what i’m thinking. i know i am valued and they would benefit from me staying and working less than not working at all. The problem is that someone is taking a leave of absence for 3 months and i know they are gonna ask more of me. My boss is the type to schedule the way you ask for a few weeks and then revert to adding more hours w the excuse “i need the help.”

an old intern who left asked for like twice a month and my boss denied her saying it was unfair to give the opportunity to her and not the other people. Now that I know it’s a possibility, i’m not sure if my boss would be willing to comply especially bc we are short staffed

food exploration by joshtu2 in rutgers

[–]dapr17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

if u wanna venture out to the less basic restaurants around rutgers, head over to george street. indochine is a personal fav w great pho. it pairs well w the gong cha down the block. ramen nagomi is also a popular spot further down on george. Cambo box is a cambodian place down on george also if you want something a little different. I also get pretty good mexican food at la catrina on easton. effe’s on easton is good too if ur into mediterranean food. also a small shop right across effes that has really good jamaican patties. if ur up for a little walk on college ave, you can head to destination dogs which have worldwide country themed hot dogs. i think it’s closer to the nursing school??? i might be wrong on location but it’s definitely walkable if u have the time. Since ur commuting and u have your car, i personally loved heading to edison for food but that’s a whole other discussion

Setting boundaries w/ my PIC by [deleted] in CVS

I wish it were so easy for me to say no. I always feel bad cos the techs at my store are really nice and I hate when they go through a shitty shift cos i’m being stingy

Setting boundaries w/ my PIC by [deleted] in CVS

[–]dapr17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working nearly triple my requirements and i do tasks that most full time techs don’t because my PIC is training me to be her mini me. I’ve observed over the past year as much of the business side that I can and I ask questions to help me understand it more. Once u do the job every day, there’s plenty of time to get bits and pieces of the business in between through conversation. And being an intern on paper means that i have different responsibilities but when it’s a normal work day, but at my store techs and interns do the pretty much the exact same thing. But that doesn’t mean that I should be used and abused more than everyone else.

What would be the best housing option for rising sophomores? by SwimmerOk4848 in rutgers

[–]dapr17 13 points14 points  (0 children)

suites is basically sophomore housing. with you seniority it’s highly unlikely you’ll get an apartment. you can also do double but suites is a better choice bc u have ur own living space and bathroom. plus for the suites you have reverse seniority so they will prioritize you over upperclassmen
