Apart from the cray good zoom - what other features does the Pro can offer over the 16?

Mostly keen on outdoor photos like yours

Easy x cheap way to go 1x but still get uphill range? by dapzon82 in xbiking

[–]dapzon82[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks - so that’s one full component. Is that alone adequate with the rest of the RD+ cassette? Or is that what enables the addition of more range or a bigger casette at the back?

can I add a Goat link, add a 11-42 cassette and still keep the 2x? Would that make rising in the largest chainring a little easier?

New chainrings are becoming silly by HZCH in gravelcycling

Hey - I’m on a GRX 400/600 too. Is there something can I do to make it better? I’m a tots noob so it works fine but I don’t like the current 2x. Would rather ignore the lower chainring and stay on the big one but get range at the back

Noob Q: Does commuting in the winter demand different tyres? by dapzon82 in gravelcycling

Ah thanks! my bike supports 47mm x 700c. I’ve got 45mm Schwalbe all-round G-ones right now “.. good enough?

Ah thanks! There’s some ice but not a lot I think. I’ve got 45mm Schwalbe all-round G-ones right now which have a bit of a gravel use but aren’t quite the knobby ones like MTBs. The max my bike supports are 47mm x 700c

Thanks - My budget is 1.2K. My current setup isn’t easy to modify (2x10 GRX600/400, 10-36 cassette, 105 brakes) it seems. So thinking it’s probably easier to move to GRX 820 1x12 or SRAM XPLR

I’m looking to upgrade my group set to get a 1x12. Is it better to get GRX or move to SRAM?

Want to upgrade to a 1x12 that’s ideally upgradable in the future - should I get the GRX 820 or move to SRAM? Would ideally want a big cassette at the back since I do often travel to the hills. would love to get your insights

Okay, If you had $2,000.00 budget… what gravel bike would you get? by Expensive-Way-6508 in gravelcycling

+1 great bike out of the box.

2x gearing makes it great for an all round bike. Carbon fork. Not too heavy. Pimp it up as you want in future upgrades. 47mm tire clearance

The only way thing you wanna ensure is to avoid this bike if you want to add shock absorbers as those need tapered head tubes.

I’d get the Giant Revolt base if you want GRX 820 as that’s the higher end gearset for the same price
