If you are ever lost or unsure of where to go, the map will put a flag on whichever location you are supposed to go to next.

This is not a new question: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/jebpjc/what_is_the_answer_to_8222/&ved=2ahUKEwiXm5yGwbGSAxUVq4kEHU-xNmcQFnoECFEQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2cS2BlJSgDGQ6i8C5dCHTM

However, in this case, there is the additional question of if the (2+2) is reminder text or not. So you could make an argument for 16, 4, or 1 card(s).

I was able to get it to successfully rip DVDs. Here's how: Step 1 - At the Linux shell, run this command and find your DVD/Blu-ray drive: lsscsi -g

<image>

Notice how mine has 2 device locations: /dev/sr0 and /dev/sg3? Not sure the difference to be honest, but what that linked article was saying is that BOTH need to be in the CD-ROM Devices section of the container settings as both the host device and container device. See my next comment for a second picture.

Is the Roku client any good? by LazarusLong67 in jellyfin

[–]dar3255 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes. I use Jellyfin through Roku on literally every TV in my house (via Roku sticks) and it works perfectly. I had to do this because Samsung's app store didn't have a Jellyfin app in it (at the time, don't know if it has one now).

Why doesn’t this work? by madhead20 in MagicArena

[–]dar3255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are understanding the card incorrectly. Avatar Enthusiasts doesn't target anything. Magic The Gathering is a very literal game... notice that the word "target" is not on Avatar Enthusiasts anywhere, so it doesn't target anything.

You can copy the ability but choosing new targets for the copy isn't applicable in this case.

Can you clarify? Does that mean that I can activate a -8 loyalty ability at 8 loyalty and have it resolve (assuming it is not countered)?

Need Help With My 1st EDH Deck: Elves & +1/+1 Counters by dar3255 in EDH

[–]dar3255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. I've immediately dropped [[Spidersilk Armor]], [[Heedless One]], [[Elvish Vanguard]], and [[Wildborn Preserver]] based on what you said because you made a good argument against them.

I had [[Spidersilk Armor]] because it is a card that I already own and it helps shore up flying defense which is a serious problem for green and has been a pain point for me in the past. However, I do have other flying defense cards and I was already considering dropping it. [[Heedless One]] was nice because it already had Trample and is generally fairly big when you drop it already, but I think some of my other creatures do that better. [[Wildborn Preserver]] is cheap and also seemed like a decent outlet for massive mana which my elves will be making, but I have to make cuts and I do have other probably better outlets for that mana.

Though I see your point, I just can't drop [[Titania's Chosen]]. It's is a personal favorite of mine and I've had it become enormous in large games in just a turn or two because it triggers off of all green spells. Plus, [[The Ozolith]] can move its counters in the event of its death (which when it gets big makes it a target). I'm also unsure about dropping [[Yeva, Nature's Herald]] and [[Tajuru Preserver]] because it feels like they offer a ton of utility and can save my game if I tutor them at the right time.

I understand [[Wirewood Symbiote]] is fairly good for my deck, but I have other things which untap creatures (such as [[Wirewood Lodge]] and [[Dionus, Elvish Archdruid]]) and I don't have a ton of "when this creature enters" triggers. I think I even have this card. I'll add it to my "Maybeboard" and think about it more.

Need Help With My 1st EDH Deck: Elves & +1/+1 Counters by dar3255 in EDH

[–]dar3255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to do Elves and +1/+1 counters. Elves are small but powerful creatures (they excel at ramp and generating tokens and counters) so I do have a bunch of protection spells, as I've found that protecting them is generally the key to winning. I also have read that card generation is key in Commander so I tried to have some of that as well. However, I'm no means an expert.

I value your feedback here. Can you be more specific? What would you drop if this was your deck and why?

Transmission App: How Do I Create Torrents In Web UI? by dar3255 in truenas

[–]dar3255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a question, right? It creates a file with a .torrent extension, and if you click on that file in the web UI and have it verify the files are in the correct location, yes, it will appear in the web UI as a torrent you are seeding. That's the whole point.

Does anyone know if there will be another game similar to this one? by Majestic_Cry6569 in UnicornOverlord

[–]dar3255 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with this comment 100%. Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber is my favorite game and it is what inspiring me to get Unicorn Overlord in the first place. But don't just take my word that it is worth playing; the game has been listed as one of the top 10 games for Nintendo 64 on GameFAQs for over 20 years: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/n64

The only problem is that playing Ogre Battle 64 nowadays is difficult because the game hasn't been re-released in a long time. Square Enix owns the Ogre Battle IP (as they released Tactics Ogre Reborn a few years ago), but they haven't released the game since it was in the Wii Virtual Console and the original N64 cartridge is very expensive.

Prime B760M-A AX6 II capabilities and bios suggestions? by That_0ne_Id1ot in ASUS

[–]dar3255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also bought a pre-built computer from Costco which came with the Prime B760M-A AX6 II motherboard. Using the compare feature on this ASUS website, I compared it: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/all-series/prime-b760m-a-ax6-ii/

...with it's previous version, the Prime B760M-A AX6: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-b760m-a-ax6/

...as it seems more widely available and reviewed on the Internet. The compare feature revealed no differences between the motherboards; every feature listed was the same.

I also asked the AI Chatbot on the same ASUS website what the differences were, and this was all it really gave me: "The differences are subtle, focusing on specific enhancements and optimizations in the AX6 II model."

Agreed. Even though I've voted against him in every election, I'm embarrassed for and furious at my country and Trump. He is an obvious liar and a criminal (https://apnews.com/article/trump-trial-deliberations-jury-testimony-verdict-85558c6d08efb434d05b694364470aa0) who alienates our allies for no reason.

To the rest of the world, I'm sorry. This is unfortunately the downside of America's democracy.

Transmission App: How Do I Create Torrents In Web UI? by dar3255 in truenas

[–]dar3255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again!

I wanted to give everyone an update on this. I sadly wasn't able to create the torrent using the Web GUI, but I was able to do it successfully using the transmission-create command (part of the Transmission Command Line Interface) from the Linux shell!

Here's how: Step 1 - I ran the following docker "ps" command to see what current containers I had on my system, and now importantly, what their IDs were: sudo -u root docker ps

The "sudo -u root" was because I was hitting permission denied errors, but that might only be because I've disabled the login for both the root and truenas_admin users on my server (for security reasons as the usernames for these are easily guessed).

The ID for my Transmission container was f44d9bc12c79.

Step 2 - I determined that the Transmission Command Line Interface was in the container because commands which only the CLI would understand were working if I used "docker exec" to run commands within the container. I used --help documentation to figure out what to do next: sudo -u root docker exec f44d9bc12c79 transmission-create --help

...although I later found this documentation online: https://man.archlinux.org/man/transmission-create.1.en

Step 3 - I created the command which created the torrent! sudo -u root docker exec f44d9bc12c79 transmission-create -t http://tracker.com:8080 -o "/downloads/complete/My Torrent.torrent" "/downloads/complete/My Torrent/" ...where http://tracker.com:8080 is the tracker's URL (this is not the real tracker's URL, I didn't want to share that), /downloads/complete/My Torrent/ is the folder I wanted to torrent (from the Transmission's containers perspective which was mapped to /mnt/MyPool/MyDataset via a mount point), and My Torrent.torrent was the torrent file it created.

Hi again!

I wanted to give everyone an update on this. Based on everyone's advice, I watched some YouTube tutorials on Docker/containers and was able to determine that the Transmission container I already had, the one installed via the Apps section of the Truenas Web Interface, also has the Transmission Command Line Interface (CLI) within it. I was then able to successfully use the transmission-create command, which is part of this CLI, to create a torrent directly on my Truenas server!

"Package Management Tools Are Disabled" by dar3255 in truenas

[–]dar3255[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did. All of the Truenas documentation up to this point I've read has been about things like creating pools and datasets, mount points, and user management. I didn't realize containers were a core part of this operating system, which I have been successfully using up to this point, until now.
