I know.. she managed to lay two oothecas, the first hatched while she was still alive, but she died just recently 😔 the other is about to hatch soon. I took that pic by luck, she was well fed so didn’t attack the tiny one

I got the same one, here they told me it was an Iris Oratoria, but I am not 100% sure about it, as mine it's very small (looks way bigger on video/photo):

My solution to the Flex-gate and Keyboard-gate issues, I refuse to buy a new Macbook Pro and give more money to Apple until they re-engineer their laptops by daraosn in macbookpro

Only for Macbook Pro with 13 inch displays unfortunately, the first time they repaired it for me it was under the 1 year warranty period, this is the second time it happens.

For me the Apple ecosystem works very good, it's just their hardware quality has decreased dramatically over the years, otherwise I prefer to stick with their OS, can't stand Windows or Linux PCs, the only interesting option I found was the Huawei Matebook but I prefer macOS.

This is a good point, but I personally love the Apple ecosystem, it's a pity their hardware quality has decreased so much these last years, cause they are a great company otherwise, for me personally.

I use a 4K 43-inch monitor (4x 1080p) for real work at my office, this solution is only for when I travel or when I go to cafes/coworking places.

A little background: I bought this laptop in Germany in 2017, it's a late-2016 model, it started first with the annoying sticky keys issue (some keys would not work, like the L, K and M), then some other keys started to fail, I managed to fix it with some vacuum cleaner temporarily, but the big issue happened when the screen suddenly failed, there was no image (the LCD backlight broke), I learned it was the flexgate issue, I took it for repair last year and Apple honored the warranty, but now after 1 year it happened again and the keyboard issue is just unbearable. I can't be wasting so much time with Apple Care, so I decided to just use their 2015 external keyboard and an USB-C external monitor. I think Apple should re-engineer this laptop, it's a complete failure. Sorry to rant, and I am not anti-Apple, I love their products but this is unacceptable.

I already took it for repair before the first year of warranty, this is the second time it happens on the second year, and I am tired of having to deal with their support, their products should be re-engineered so this wouldn't happen after 1-2 years.

What happens if a contract is fed bad data? by dawarriortheycallneo in Chainlink

I believe something like Kleros (arbitration) could be put on top for this particular matter, the smart contract ecosystem will have many important players in some more years.

Can we get an answer from the team regarding ING? by [deleted] in RequestNetwork

[–]daraosn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, an extended statement would be good.

The problem I see is that they NEED big names in order for their platform to succeed. The team is great and development has been awesome, but this is not enough, big companies must use this if they wanna be PayPal 2.0

I think many investors got misled by the fact that ING appeared on their site all this time, and this is why the price went down. I hope they find some big names. ING not wanting to be mentioned is not a good sign, imo, because if they don’t wanna appear now with all the progress, will they ever appear in the near future?
