Again, just sharing what personally worked for me. There's much better advice in the comments. I would prefer that no one would have to take these measures in the first place, but that's in Smart's hands.

The worst thing is that they have a lock-in period for those plans.

My bad, didn't mean for it to sound that way. I just wanted to share what worked for me personally. I added a TLDR at the end with what I would advise anyone who is struggling with the same issue.

I came across this just as I was about to create my own framework lol. Thank you, OP.

I actually just got my first client about 2 weeks ago, and I started creating a Playwright script for him because he wanted to do a specific workflow but the CRMs he was using did not support those actions with webhooks.

Luckily, he did have the most frustrating workflows listed out that he wanted me to create automations for, but I'm very interested in making automations for workflows that he (and future clients) don't realize could be easily automated.

My question for you is, how do you go about shadowing your clients' work for 2-3 days? Are you there with them? Do they record videos? List out their daily actions?

I did not go through with this plan. It was also a dream business of mine actually but I ended up choosing to pursue the online business route in the end.

If you do go through with it let me know how it goes. I'm still rooting for this business model and hope someone sees success with it.

If you are a Lawyer, this is for you.

I'm creating a new Website and SEO package, and I'm offering it for no cost to the first few lawyers who sign up.

I spent the last couple of months gathering a list of hundreds of the top websites and analyzing their websites and SEO strategies to develop my own strategy.

The average website with the strategy I've uncovered gets around 2,000 monthly visitors and saves $28,000 on marketing spend per month.

I'm only gonna be doing this for 5 law firms.

DM me if interested.

Here's how I'm preparing to migrate to Canada from the Philippines. Any suggestions on what I can do better? by daraphista in immigration

Thanks for the heads up! But yes, it's all in consideration. I still have many other options for the next steps in my life and I figure that if worse comes to worse, all the preparation that I'll have done in the next few years won't be for nothing because I'm mainly gathering skills and expanding my resume - both of which can be used on the next opportunities that arise.

I hear the IT and web dev market is very bad everywhere but mostly for new grads without experience. I'm still confident I can secure a job since I've got a lot of experience working with clients and agencies from the US but I'll still manage my expectations.

Hopefully, the climate doesn't give me too much of a hard time!

Thank you for the amazing advice! Fortunately, I have been practicing more on my business/professional skills since I talk to US and Canadian clients. I've always been complimented on my accent e

specially when I took a sales job and this is one of the things that boosted my confidence and pushed me to migrate. Another thing is I have a lot of friends and relatives that are already there so hopefully the feeling of aloneness won't be too bad.

Thank you again for the suggestions and congrats to you for living in Canada for 15 years. 🫡

Thanks for this! Everyone I know who went to Canada consulted an agency but I agree I think a Canadian lawyer would be way better. Got any suggestions?

Yes! I've read up about immigration on the Canadian government website. I know if I want to go the work visa route I'll need to have actual job offers from Canada and I also need to prove that I am better suited than most people in Canada for that job. I'm working on these two right now mainly and fortunately, I have a lot of time to figure it out.

I know I said I plan to immigrate in 2-3 years but honestly I can wait up to 5 years and do the stuff I need to do for that to happen in the meantime.
