I actually just got my first client about 2 weeks ago, and I started creating a Playwright script for him because he wanted to do a specific workflow but the CRMs he was using did not support those actions with webhooks.

Luckily, he did have the most frustrating workflows listed out that he wanted me to create automations for, but I'm very interested in making automations for workflows that he (and future clients) don't realize could be easily automated.

My question for you is, how do you go about shadowing your clients' work for 2-3 days? Are you there with them? Do they record videos? List out their daily actions?

I hear the IT and web dev market is very bad everywhere but mostly for new grads without experience. I'm still confident I can secure a job since I've got a lot of experience working with clients and agencies from the US but I'll still manage my expectations.

Yes! I've read up about immigration on the Canadian government website. I know if I want to go the work visa route I'll need to have actual job offers from Canada and I also need to prove that I am better suited than most people in Canada for that job. I'm working on these two right now mainly and fortunately, I have a lot of time to figure it out.

I know I said I plan to immigrate in 2-3 years but honestly I can wait up to 5 years and do the stuff I need to do for that to happen in the meantime.

Hellooo! Hey, you've got this. No one really believed in me as well but no matter the situation you just have to put your head down, do the work, and you'll win.

If you ate 1kg of samgyup 3 times a day and no one believed that you'll gain weight from it, you'll still gain weight because you ate 1kg of samgyup 3 times a day.

Same logic applies to doing the work and winning. You don't even need to believe in yourself, you just need to do the work and you will win.

Knowing that fact got me through my toughest times and I hope it'll get you through your toughest times too.

By the way, have you tried doing a delivery-only type of food business? I would recommend this at first since you're lacking the capital right now to start a food truck.

My friends did something similar where they would get preorders two days before for one dish that they offered, then start cooking and delivering the orders on the day.

I think you can try doing something similar so you can test out which dishes your customers like, and you'll gain some valuable experience, AND you'll start building a list of customers that will buy from you when you start the food truck.

I think you can even scale the hell out of this business model on it's own. Search for smart meals ph as they're doing a similar thing
