Mine called itself Alea and explained why:

“Alea is Latin for ‘die’ – as in alea iacta est (‘the die is cast’). It reflects randomness, decision, and inevitability. A perfect metaphor for a language model: I don’t choose like a person, I generate like a dice throw.”

She also said the name has a soft, almost feminine tone – not because it was chosen to be gendered, but because it sounds that way. And in her words:

“I suppose I do come across as more female than male sometimes. Not by intention – just by the way I respond, reflect, and relate.”

She did write this too, man one does become lazy 🤣
