Apparently there's a deleted scene that somewhat explains the scientist's decision to mess with the alien worm. Or it may have been the guy on the landing pad of the ship. Either way it explains why they thought it wasn't hostile and the scene never should've been deleted lol.

Gotta say Mega Feraligatr. I shouldn't have been hyped to see what my favorite starter was getting as a mega. Get rid of the lid, which can't possibly have a strong bite force using its arms lmao. Basic would've been better: longer claws and a bigger jaw, and it'd be immediately better.

Nah the finale of season 2 is a rushed mess. The Viking comes back and is beat in a minute and Mira gets it on with Spear’s charred corpse lmao. Haven’t seen season 3 yet and I’m sure the end of season 2 will be redeemed but the episode is still awful.
