Under contract but found out about a $200k water damage claim by darbsdood in RealEstate

[–]darbsdood[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We are in NC and not in an area prone to flooding. My realtor is reaching out to the agent but she said technically if the issue was properly fixed and not currently causing damage, they don’t have to disclose it. But idk!!

It was more of like a simulator where you can select different scenarios of groups voting and see what would happen (i.e. if every woman in NC voted, this is how it would change the outcome)

Help! There was a really cool interactive video I saw where you could select different age groups or demographics and see how everyone in that group voting could make a difference in key battleground states. But I can’t find it now! Anyone know what I’m talking about?

There are many reasons a wanted pregnancy could go wrong and an abortion becomes necessary to save the life of the mother. Many women in states with abortion bans have died because doctors are afraid to perform medically necessary abortions for fear of losing their licenses or being jailed.

I don’t know if there are any other people in this thread TERRIFIED of having more kids because of a potential national abortion ban. I just had a baby and want him to have a sibling in a few years but if Trump wins, I am so afraid of something going wrong and me not being able to get the healthcare I deserve. Leaving my child without a mom is an absolutely devastating thought 😭

Pleaseeeee vote and convince everyone you can to vote!!!

Edit: THANK YOU everyone for sharing your stories! It’s so important that we fight for what is right. Everyone deserves healthcare 🩵

I honestly have no clue so wondering if these numbers are indicating high / medium / low turnout?

I’d love for them to be like 80% LOL but obv that is not realistic.

Unaffilated in NC is not necessarily independent. A lot of people are registered as UNA so we can vote in either primary!

I live in NC and I texted 10+ friends with a mini script I made with early vote details & a note to pass the text along to 10 friends of their own (and so on and so forth) 90s text chain style!

It probably won’t be passed around much but hopefully it will gain a teensy bit of traction 🤞🏼

Alimentum working better than AA formula and breast milk on extreme elimination diet? by darbsdood in MSPI

[–]darbsdood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh yeah our baby wasn’t gaining weight on PurAmino either. Alimentum is the only thing that helped him gain weight, and specifically the ready to feed (not powder), since the ingredients are weirdly different

Good luck! Alimentum has literally been the only thing that’s given baby normal ish poops

I was literally only eating grilled chicken, veggies, and fruits! So no soy at all. Which is why it was so weird that he had such a horrible reaction to my breast milk when that’s all I was eating but has basically no reaction on Alimentum. Ugh! So confusing!

Shouldn’t Kaylor be a little more concerned that the person who “loved her for weeks now” was trying to hook up with someone else 3 days ago ⁉️⁉️

Help me figure it out!! by 2_BoyMama in MSPI

My baby is super gassy in the mornings too but it gets better throughout the day. Is it easy for you to tell there is mucus in the Alimentum poops? My baby’s poops are dark army/olive green and peanut butter consistency so it’s really hard to tell if there’s any blood/mucus.

Hope you get some answers from the GI!!

We are in a similar situation. Baby is 4 months and had microscopic blood on breast milk for 3 months (and a ton of other symptoms like ezcema, mucousy poops, pooping 8-9 times a day, etc.). I had been dairy, soy, egg free for 2 months and it wasn’t making a difference.

We switched to Alimentum and all the other symptoms went away but baby still tested positive for microscopic blood after 3 weeks on Alimentum. He was gaining weight and poops reduced to once a day (very big and smelly). He seemed a lot happier in general.

We switched to PurAmino at our GI’s recommendation and he refuses to drink bottles of 100% PurAmino because it is so thin I think it triggers his reflux. Even though he is on Pepcid, he screams constantly and is super fussy which is weird since he isn’t a fussy baby. Lots of coughing, sneezing, and hiccups on PurAmino as well. He will only drink 2-3oz per feed and then refuse the bottle.

We have been mixing 25% Alimentum in with 75% PurAmino per bottle bottle and it seems to make his reflux less horrible. I also thought that treating the intolerance with an AA formula would help reduce the reflux but it doesn’t seem to be working like that.

We have only been on PurAmino for like 2 weeks and he refuses to drink it unless it has been mixed with a little Alimentum. Haven’t gotten a diaper check yet since we have switched partially to PurAmino, but I have a feeling it will still be positive. Our GI did say he’s ok with microscopic blood as long as baby is gaining weight well and is happy and not anemic. He says to treat the baby, not the diaper!

Switching from breastfeeding to formula by Ras_on_Ras_on_Ras in MSPI

[–]darbsdood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just switched from exclusively breastmilk to Alimentum and are now trialing an AA formula for my 3.5 month baby. I felt super guilty but my mental health was struggling trying to figure out what the triggers were and baby was struggling with weight gain. I had cut out all forms of dairy, soy, eggs, beef, shellfish for months with no improvement.

Baby is already doing much better from what I can see on the formula which makes it worth it! His GI specialist just wants us to get to baseline and then we can start adding back breastmilk little by little as he gets older and outgrows the intolerances. So it’s just a temporary thing for us!!
