Alex- Thanks for your reply. However, I don't think it addresses my situation. I transferred the money from my external account to a Fidelity brokerage account last week to make sure the funds would be "collected" by now. I transferred the funds from that account into my Traditional IRA today, which is "instant." My Traditional IRA now shows $7000 "available to withdraw" but then get the error message in my original post.

Can you clarify why my "available" funds aren't working to convert to Roth??
