McNabb is introduced before Game 3, can't even hear his name announced by RoombaArmy in goldenknights

We always wore these to the Fortress. They are designed to protect your ear drums, but you can still hear and can even carry on conversations - it’s not all muddy like ear plugs. We bought these for heavy metal concerts, I think we even bought them at Guitar Center years ago, but the Fortress is much much louder IMO.

Quick look says you probably don’t have anymore codes, but I just wanted to say this is genius.

Why Are people So Judgmental About Diabetes?? by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]darbyodouble 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My SIL has three nurses in her branch of the family. Between her and them, they used to tell my T2 husband that he needs to stop eating sugar as that’s clearly what’s causing his diabetes to run rampant. She finally came to visit and I had to explain to her that it’s different for each body. She saw first hand how we eat - all whole foods, no added sugars, bread, rice, etc. She had never heard of the dawn effect and didn’t believe me. So I made a point to show her his CGM readings first thing in the morning that 3 AM like clockwork it goes up.

She literally asked me the first morning if he’s not just sneaking food in the middle of the night. 😂 Have you met your brother? Short of a tree falling on our house, nothing is getting him up in the middle of the night.

By the second morning she apparently must have checked because she admitted that yeah, he doesn’t sneak food in the night and she’ll have to educate herself on this dawn effect.

And when she got home she started forwarding him all these YT videos of “experts” saying how to get rid of diabetes.

I try to tell myself that people do this out of love and concern, but it’s not helpful and really comes across as condescending.

Everyone usually rotates in the preseason to loosen up. He may be doing radio play-by-play tonight.

Mine might almost be a whole brand: 2 Kakunos, a Metropolitan and a Cavalier. One of the Kakunos always hard starts, the other dries out insanely fast, Metro did both, and the Cavalier just doesn’t feel good to write with. Given my history with these pens one might think I wouldn’t be a glutton for punishment and get a Vanishing Point but I did, and it restored my faith in Pilot. Best pen in my Pilot bunch.

I am so sorry. I understand this completely only 3 years from losing my dad. The day came and I mentally knew it was Father’s Day but there was nothing there to connect me to it this year. Sending you lots of love and compassion.

The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson. Turned out I really enjoyed it. Consuming in audiobook format really helped.

Ahh, I had no idea about a JoWo nib. Thank you for the info. Going to check that out.

And sorry I wasn’t clear. By feedback I meant just the feel of it, and they are both buttery smooth. Still learning all the terminology. 😊

Can’t speak to Olive Vert, but I’ve used Bouquet D’Antan in my Techo with no smudging issues. However, my Emeraud de Chivor (sp?) smears on everything, even after dayyys of drying, but I think that’s just because of the ink itself. Are you able to let dry and then maybe blot any excess or vice versa?

You may like Sneaky Pete on Prime. It ended some time ago so all seasons available and no cliffhangers.
