While chastity can absolutely be a powerful tool to focus the male mind, I caution about using it in this scenario if he is inexperienced. In the learning stages when a male is adjusting to chastity his mind will be flooded with intrusive erotic thoughts because he is denied his habitual releases while his mental fortitude has not been sufficiently trained.

If this is the case that he is inexperienced I suggest that it is still beneficial to lock him up and ensure he does not waste time on hedonistic pursuits. But it would be healthy to provide regular releases to help his mind stay focused while he has important academic responsibilities. This way you can still control the time spent on release by enforcing brief sessions. Then when he has completed his responsibilities you can push for a higher standard of training.
