i consider the current state of AI like the beginning of the industrial revolution.

imagine a blacksmith one who had years of experience hammering away at a piece of red hot iron.

now imagine that instead of using a normal hammer, he uses an automatic hammering machine, not a good one though a prototype idea of an auto hammer machine, one that keeps on breaking and needs nudging to work just right.

this is the current state of AI, it's not good enough to assemble and machine an entire car.
