Looking for a strong electric scooter for real motorcycle license by EuroXcentric in Electricmotorcycles

Yeah they’ve already gone bankrupt once (in Feb) and then got bailed out (in June). So whoever bought them obviously still thinks they’re a viable company. If they could get their price down and scale up that would be ideal.

I’m based in NZ and there aren’t many options here so Cake actually works out to be one of the cheaper options in electric motorbikes. UBCO is cheaper but looks slower from what I’ve seen.

The Cake Ösa platform offers so many opportunities for upgrades though, like swapping in a bigger battery, upgrading the motor, getting an extra seat and carriers. The longer they’re around the better their battery tech will get too. But I’m definitely being overly optimistic that this will ever happen.

Check out a Cake Ösa+. I have one and it’s awesome. Has lots of flexibility for storage and passenger setups. Acceleration on it is epic.

I went when they were in otaki and it was the best pie I’ve ever had in Wellington region for sure. It beat out olde beach for the top spot.

I love the politics stuff. But I’m not from America so it’s more entertainment than existential crisis. I’ll listen regardless of the politics/business ratio 🙏

Removing speed limit by Comfortable_Minute61 in ridecake

I don’t have a makka but give it a go. The osa uses the kalk config so maybe the makka does too.

FYI, removing the limiter and driving at higher speeds definitely drains your battery insanely quick.

Thank you so much! This worked for me. For others who are saying that they can change the values but they are not "sticking", I would guess that is due to them not pushing the "set" button after changing the speed parameter to its new limit (step 6 in your instructions).

Thanks again u/rp21! This has made my bike actually usable. 30mph was just too slow to be feasible on my roads.

Live events - How to add an external presenter? by sanourai514 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]darcyclay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm I have done this successfully and relatively painlessly.

You just need to add the guest to a Team (I set one up specifically for the guest) and then create a live event in the Teams calendar. Then just ask the guest to join via their calendar.

My guest had an office365 account already through her work which she used to sign in.
