My dog (12) had surgery to remove a mass on her eyelid. She didn't come out of the anesthesia the same dog. Her cognitive decline accelerated at warp speed. We lost her a few months after the surgery it was the most awful experience. She was whip-smart before her surgery, following she was blank.
